It was like Cirque du Soleil but with Native Americans and no bungy cords. We loved it. It was my daughter's birthday and in July it was a cool night. Great to have wine, beer, treats and soda available for a decent price as we watched and enjoyed the fabulous show. From the mixture of humor, tenderness, authenticity, showmanship, musicianship... We have gone to several Brule shows over the past few years and their current location and show is wonderful. Music is great, dancers provide a great interpretation of the native American dances. Outdoor location in the Black Hills just adds to the shows dynamics.

Overall, great music and a wonderful show. The normal concert style flute is not meant to be played in that way and it sounded amazing. The father had some great stories to tell in between sets and his jokes were pretty good too. Would watch again.

I had always wanted to see Brule, and it didn't disappoint. What an incredible setting in the Black Hills, it was a great night and the weather cooperated as well. Just a short drive from Hill City and very scenic, enjoyed the show even though different than I expected. Not exactly traditional Lakota, but really enjoyed the music and the... More

We LOVED this show, it was well worth the money. The dancers and personal feel from everyone made this one of the highlights of our trip. There could be no bad seat. We paid for a VIP experience, but only because I didn't want to drag blankets and chairs with me. Well worth the extra few bucks. The food for... More

It was interesting to see and hear the Indian perspective. The dancer's were great. The show was good. The food was really good as well. The kids did not enjoy it as much as I hoped but the adults did.

We saw this show's reviews on TripAdvisor and knew we should give it a try. We stayed right at the ranch it is performed at and were greatly impressed. The music was wonderful, the dancers had such talent, and one member of the band shared his personal story of his own Native American culture to add to the show. It... More

This ranks along with Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore as a "not to be missed" experience in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Paul's story and commitment to intercultural understanding is deeply moving. The music and native dancing are incredible--store up the memories and plan to return---we never turn down a chance to see and hear it again with our... More

We hadn't planned to see this show until just a few hours before the performance, but so glad we did. Although I was expecting a more traditional musical experience (I'll admit I booked tickets only after seeing a picture of the dancers) the Yanni-like music enriched with traditional Naive American drums and exceptional flute playing was amazing. The dancers were... More

Brule is a must see when in Hill City, SD or wherever they may perform. The music is uplifting and great fusion of various music styles with Native American rhythm The dance adds to the interpretation of the music. We had a fantastic time.
