It was interesting hearing stories about the bears and how people from all over the United States and over the world have donated bears. My son asked a lot of questions and the owner was kind enough to indulge him. I hope they're able to expand soon! We really wished their was a better and large selection for teddy bears... More

It was a neat place to go to and listen to the owner explain about her bears, its amazing how many different places she has gotten bears from! Only thing I wish she had a bigger variety of things for sale:)

We were told about this from the lady at the visitor center since we had small children. Went in and the lady was very friendly. My kids all asked for a particular theme of a bear and she was able to find that bear and even tell a story about it. A mermaid bear a Star Wars bear and a... More

Saw off the road eagles bears and other wooded creatures. The little house was cute with all the teddy bears. Jackie knows them all by name;) she adores them all!! What really caught our eye was the wooden sculptures. We wanted a fun momento from our Black Hills trip. The sculptures are a must see and a must take home.... More

It is what it is. A bunch of bears crammed onto shelves in a little store. Some of the bears are wearing tags that tell about where they originated. The nice older woman that owns it stands at the counter to greet you. It's free, it's kitschy and cute. My 18 year old bought a teddy bear town tee shirt.... More

We stumbled across this place by accident today while looking for a liquor store, haha, when my 8 year old son saw the sign he stated "I think I am in heaven". He LOVED it! We didn't spend much time here as it is quite small, but seeing all those bears is neat. My son bought a bear and was... More

We just stopped in here as we were waiting for our dinner reservations and had a few minutes to spare. It was jam packed with teddy bears...so I was almost claustrophobic. There were over 8000 bears which is impressive, but they need to be displayed differently. Way too many in a small place!

My girls loved this! They were able to bring teddy bears to donate and they are now part of the world record for the biggest collection of teddy bears. We didn't spend very long there, but it was on the way and definitely worth the stop.

This was a great stop for all in our group, young and old alike. The kids each brought a Teddy Bear to add and immediately got their name and number given to them so they can come find their bear again. Jackie who owns the museum could not have been nicer to my grandchildren. She explained to us how she... More

I had found this little gem on line and had talked about stopping. The first day through Hill City we forgot to stop and boy did we hear about it from our 6 year old! Luckily we had time to stop another day and we were not disappointed. Plus we found out that it had been closed the day before... More
