The staff was extremely cordial and selections of wines was great. The only thing was the wine club you were asked to join before you could purchase certain wines. I think it was a great place to shop though.

They had such a variety of wines that I had a very difficult time narrowing it down to my 5 samples. Of them, there wasn't a single one I didn't like. I bought two bottles to bring home (Big A** Rhubarb and Pink Slip) but the temptation to buy a dozen bottles was very strong. My daughter sampled a rhubarb... More

After a busy day of sightseeing, my husband and I wanted a nice glass of wine and a meal with 'real' ingredients. We were tired of a lot of roadside restaurants on our trip. We were delighted to find this place. The wine was good...many different fruits flavors. The food was amazing...salads, tomato soup, avocados and micro greens. Our 8... More

This was a fun experience! You get to sample 5 different wines. Besides wine, they also offer candles, samples of jellies and spun honey. They creamed cinnamon honey was my favorite! They also serve meals; however, we did not eat here, but it smelled great!

Very cool and enjoyable place. We stopped in after seeing Mt. Rushmore / Crazy Horse monuments and had a great time tasting some of the wines. Staff was pleasant and helpful, not overly pushy either to have you buy wine (I bought 2 bottles for my son). I actually would have bought some for myself if I wasn't flying home... More

Rhubarb, black currents, peaches, pears, and pineapples, just some of the fruits used in their wines. Stopping into a winery in South Dakota was a bit wield, don't see grapes growing on the hill sides. The wines are sweeter than a classic grape wine, but a great to drink. We brought two bottles home and continue to enjoy a touch... More

This is our third trip to Prairie Berry. There were more different wines to taste this time and they didn't disappoint. We have brought back wine from their for friends and they become "on-line" customers "-) Love this wine. This time we also bought jam and honey. DON'T MISS this fun experience when you are in the Hill City, SD... More

This winery really shows its passion for wine! Five generations using old recipes and new. It was very difficult to limit our purchase to three cases! Well done.
