Great wine, good food, friendly staff!

We stopped here twice on our Hill City Trip. Once for the wine tasting, which was excellent, and then again later for a quick bite to eat. Great spot!

Whenever we are in the hills for the motorcycle rally, we ride by this winery. I have always wanted to stop, but don't drink and ride and storage space is limited when traveling by motorcycle. So when we found ourselves traveling in the Black Hills in December by car we finally had the chance to stop to buy a bottle... More

I love the Red A** Rhubarb wine, the only down side is that it is not always in stock, I try to go in the Fall to make sure to get some! Lots of other flavors also, but that is by far my favorite. Worth the stop.

We stopped following a trip to Mount Rushmore and were welcomed as if old friends. The staff is warm and friendly, but also very knowledgable in the quality and properties of the wine made and served there. 5 complimentary tastings are offered. A kitchen is on site, offering home crafted soups, entrees, and deserts. They also sell wine retail and... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the scope, beauty and friendliness of this place. The tasting room is large, well appointed and appears to have a small bistro. DANNI was our pourer and she gave us great advice on the wines that would suit our palate. Typical of the area, there are a large number of fruit wines. But luckily for... More

My sister and I had lunch and a wine tasting here in early October. It wasn't super busy, since it was the shoulder season. We had a delectable lunch...I highly recommend the wild mushroom pizza and the caesar salad! The wine tasting was excellent. The 'bartenders' really know their stuff and are very personable, making the whole experience fun and... More

Great time ! The people are friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines and the process. The food was great. Their building and grounds are just plain fun. It would be a experience lost to come to western South Dakota and not go to Prairie Berry Winery.

Our first time here and loved it all. It was kid-friendly which was a plus for us on our family vacation. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. We ended up joining the Legacy Club and we are looking forward to our first shipment along with the one we had shipped the day we visited since we were traveling.

We love it here and return every summer when we visit the area. When we're not visiting, we subscribe to their wine of the month club! Their food is delicious and their staff extremely knowledgeable. We absolutely love it.
