I grew up in wine country, Colorado and have been to wine tasting in Napa, Ca and France. I love dry reds, and this place has none. Their wines tasted too young, could use a few more years in the casks. Hoping that they get better, but South Dakota has sweet red wine tastes, so I doubt they will develop... More

After a long day of sightseeing (during a September snow storm) we were tired and wanted something light for our evening meal. After reading the reviews we decided to stop were very happy that we,did. The winery has the usual selections but adds some special wines that are infused with various local fruits and berries. One of their best sellers... More

We stopped here on our way home from Mount Rushmore. I had never done a wine tasting before, so I wasn't quite sure how it worked. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us select 5 wines to taste. There were some unusual wines with local ingredients including rhubarb, chokecherries, raspberries, and black currents. I bought a pumpkin... More

I have been here 3 times - once with my mom, grandma and sister; once with my girlfriends and once with girl & guy friends. Each time, I had something new to try. I can't say that I like all of the wines, but there are definitely some good ones. The atmosphere is very nice, as well. The first couple... More

If you've never done wine tasting you'll enjoy your visit here. Pick 5 wines off the menu and they arrange them in order of dryest to sweetest. Jillian made the experience fun and memorable with her charming personality and knowledge of the wines I tried. My first time doing wine tasting so wasn't sure what exactly to do but we... More

My friend and I stopped in on our way to another attraction and had a wonderful time. This ended up being an expensive stop since I couldn't narrow my choices down, lol. Calamity Jane and Raspberry Honeywine were my favorites. The service was great, I wish I could remember the name of the wonderful lady who assisted us with our... More

Well, they do have tastings of course. One of their most famous wines is the Red A*s Rhubarb Wine (can't use the "A" word in description but that is the name of the wine). The story of how it all came about is funny and the wine is a best seller. It is also an award-winning wine. They have many... More

This was our 2nd time doing a free wine tasting here. Between my husband and I each choosing 5 different wines, I think I've tasted them all now and definitley have my favorites. I do enjoy the Red (I guess I'm not allowed to use profanity so I'll just say it's a 3 letter word for mule or donkey, whichever)... More

They have some really interesting local varieties. Not your standard wines, blended with fruits, berries. I think I'm a more traditional wine drinker did enjoy the tasting and brought back a bottle. Beautiful place! Friendly staff.

Wine is ok. Beautiful place to see but there are other wineries in the area that are more reasonably priced. They just started the beer making....really nothing special.....
