If you enjoy "camp" you'll love The Shooting of Wild Bill inside Saloon No. 10. This (nearly) one-man show provides a condensed version of Wild Bill Hickok's life. It's performed with respect and humor. Arrive early to get a table. The show takes place past the long, mahogany bar in an open area across from the musicians' stage. Order a... More

We really enjoyed the reenactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickok. The crowd was fun and the cast were on their toes.

Not bad, Hickok was good in telling the story and involved the audience as players with parts. However, by using 4 audience members (3 children) it fell a bit flat. Using perhaps 1 or 2 audience members but 2 more actors with lines and well-practiced interaction would have been more entertaining.

Of course this isn't the original Saloon #10 where Wild Bill Hickock was shot but you'd never know it once you're inside. There's a number of stuffed animals and weird heads of famous Deadwood characters, the supposed chair that Wild Bill was sitting in when he was shot and other cool things to look at around the place. The most... More

I cannot attest to the nightlife aspect of it, went in here to eat about 3;30pm was going to eat at the bar but was a limited menu, so went upstairs to eat, I ordered the chicken alfredo which I would swear was Banquet frozen dinner, with precooked frozen chicken added to it. One person took my order and got... More

This is a one of a kind bar. Right out of the Wild West, even saw dust on the floor. There is so much history on the walls. It's a museum in itself. Great for a cold one during the day, but tends to get loud in the evening.

Stopped in for a brew and a bite – enjoyed our dinner very much. I will offer though that the upstairs seating is so-so. We were fortunate to get a booth and not one of the tables in the large, open room. It could be perhaps because we were early diners. We saw only booths near the kitchen entrance and... More
