This saloon, in the idle of town, has friendly staff and reasonable prices. There is a restaurant upstairs that has decent food too! It is one of the few places with blackjack tables open during the day (and only $3 minimums) We met some fun people and the dealers were great. It is the ONLY place in town with adult... More

Saloon No. 10 is an historic location for those who love the old west! Actors portray Wild Bill and his death scene at specific times in the saloon. We ate there on the roof top dining area in the open air and overlooked the town. The food was pretty good. They have Wild Bills Death Chair in a glass case... More

Deadwood, SD is a great town to visit with it's old west arcitecture. Downtown you will find Saloon number 10 where Wild Bill Hickok was assiainated. The chair he was sitting in when he was shot is on display. The first floor is a bar and casino. The second floor used to be a brothel. It is now a resurant... More

Incredible atmosphere, friendly staff, cheap drinks; so what more could you ask for. They do re-enactments from the murder of Wild Bill in the saloon, which is also a "must see". We were there for 8 days, and spent an hour inside each day.

Saloon 10 and ex brothel is a great example of the old west architecture. Lot of interesting history and a very impressive and diverse menu. I had the Buffalo ravioli and it was fantastic. As an appetizer we had the smoked salmon which was also great. It was right on main street in Deadwood.

Deadwood the town was made famous to us by our fascination with the story told through the eyes of many on the mini series "Deadwood". We might have just driven on by but the highway was long and we all needed a break. So we turned off the main road and headed into history. Once in town we decided to... More

Because of the way the saloon is constructed, if you are here for the assassination of Wild Bill you want to come early and sit in the back to the right. We came a little late and had to stand where it was hard to see since the card players were sitting. Still, we were able to get my wife... More

If you enjoy "camp" you'll love The Shooting of Wild Bill inside Saloon No. 10. This (nearly) one-man show provides a condensed version of Wild Bill Hickok's life. It's performed with respect and humor. Arrive early to get a table. The show takes place past the long, mahogany bar in an open area across from the musicians' stage. Order a... More

We really enjoyed the reenactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickok. The crowd was fun and the cast were on their toes.

Not bad, Hickok was good in telling the story and involved the audience as players with parts. However, by using 4 audience members (3 children) it fell a bit flat. Using perhaps 1 or 2 audience members but 2 more actors with lines and well-practiced interaction would have been more entertaining.
