The original is where Wild Bill was shot. It's a touristy bar/antique shop/museum. The tour takes 15-20 minutes, is interesting and short enough to keep my ADD brain engaged. The other Saloon no 10 is across the street is a raucous biker bar touting itself as a whiskey and bourbon bar. Just don't ask for anything from buffalo trace...what? They... More

We went for the show and ate while waiting. Food was inexpensive and very good. The show was fun. My granddaughter was participating, so that made it even better. Kids should jump up and volunteer when the guy comes around.

This is where Wild Bill Hickok met his demise. There is a reenactment of the fateful day and the guy who plays him is a dead ringer!! Get there early so you can get a good seat. Food is OK, too.

Coming in to Deadwood felt more like Sturgis. The bikers have completely overrun the town and we weren't feeling the family vacation vibe. We went in to the No.10 saloon where we were let down even more. Tacky old paintings of nude women, overpriced junk everywhere, and sloppy help that I would guess was probably using illegal substances. Save your... More

I wanted to visit Saloon No. 10 because of all the history. At night it is a busy and crowded happening place. I came back in the morning, because I wanted to see all the western relics and pictures and be able to take it all in. It wasn't crowded and I took lots of pictures of all the memorabilia,... More

Overall, very disappointed in Deadwood and this Saloon. This establishment claims to welcome families, but you walk in and have no idea where to go. Menu is a small notepad with option of a hot dog, meat ball sub, and a veggie wrap. You're eating right next to slot machines. Ape-ish bikers dominate the town and it's a very unfriendly... More

We ended up spending most of our time right here at the poker tables. Watch out for the locals who play here almost every night, they will give you a run for your money, but everyone was well behaved. You get free well drinks and food while you are playing and the sandwiches are not bad at all. Have fun... More

The brats were not good. It is a little too rustic for my taste. The drinks are rather expensive, but the waitresses are very nice.

Beer was warm. Tour was a rip off. Very disappointing adventure in Deadwood. There was nothing I liked about this place.
