Fun for young children.

I visited the Children's Museum with my great grand children, ages three and five, it was an educational and fun experience. All activities are hands on. The children love it.

This was far more than I anticipated. I had my 6 yr old grandson with me and WOW! He wasn't very excited when I told him we were going to a 'museum'. But that sure changed. His favorite parts in the museum were 'climbing into the clouds' & the 'water room'. He was so busy the entire time. I read... More

This place is amazing. I brought my two year old granddaughter here, and she was busy for hours. We could have stayed much longer, were it not for other commitments. She (and I!) enjoyed everything! I was astounded at the displays- from the grocery shopping experience, to the farm, to the news casting, to the water display. So well done!... More

Before I review: A disclaimer, this place is set up for kids, let them be kids! I was very surprised at how controlling some of the parents were, the nasty looks when our little guy was enjoying himself, He's 2. Of course he is going to cut in line, and see what's going on. He's 2. He is going to... More

The Children's Museum of South Dakota is EXCEPTIONAL!! My 6 yr old and even the 12 yr old enjoyed all the great hands on areas. They have an awesome outdoor area with a "fishing pond", and many, many different areas inside....plan on spending at least a couple of hours so your kiddos can take their time and enjoy all the... $6 for age 12 months and up. Super fun children's museum with a series of rooms with fun and unique activities. On a war day bring your swimsuits to run through the splash pad outside. So worth the drive from Sioux Falls. My 1 and 3 year old loved it. Will keep coming back!!

I take my grand children to the museum. They love it and so do I! There is so much to see and do. When you get hungry you can grab a delicious lunch at the museum. Stop in and have a great day!

You won't be disappointed here. This place did their research when putting this museum together. Being from Brookings we go here often and our kids never seem to get sick of it.

I went with my little nephew and he had a blast. Lots of activities that keep children interested. I had heard a lot of good things about the museum from peers and was super excited to go myself.

Kids loved the museum and get requests to go back when they visit. Staff was helpful. As an adult I found it very fun also.
