We come here with our kids and they love it. The kids have endless fun in each room doing all the different activities. I do agree with some of the others that the cafe doesn't have very kid friendly food. The grocery store with the conveyer belt for the fruits and veggies and the cafe are my kids favorite!

Whenever we visit grandma, the kids ask to go. It's set up like a town with each room having a different theme (mechanic shop, post office, grocery store, etc.) Everything is interactive for the kids. We adults have fun there too.

This is an amazing Children's Museum! There's so much to do for the kids, and it's such a large area inside (with also some outside activities) that the kids all were more than entertained. There is so much potential for learning here that it truly would be a great place to have in your local town. Between the grocery that... More

Our 3 children thoroughly enjoyed all exhibits that this museum had to offer! Climbing the clouds was a big hit with my older children, and the hands on pioneer home, farm, and garden area was great for my toddler. The art studio upstairs is a must for the creative minds, giving the kids a take home craft. The outdoor river,... More

Family and friends have been telling me to visit for over a year! With the help of Groupon.. my sister and I finally took my daughter (2) and two nieces (2,3) last Sat. It was AMAZING!! Sooo much to do.. even for the younger ages!! From swimming in the creek, to fishing, building, painting, farming, grocery shopping, music, and MORE!... More

I wanted to visit the museum on my recent trip to Brookings. Unfortunately, they ignored my request for additional information. All I can rate them on is their complete lack of customer service. I was very disappointed.

This is the second trip we have been to the museum, and the kids still loved it. Definitely a great place to take younger kids, but I'm not sure it would hold attention in kids much beyond 8 years old. Highlight in summer is the outdoor area. We brought the kids' swimsuits and they were able to take a dip... More

I visited the Children's Museum with my great grand children, ages three and five, it was an educational and fun experience. All activities are hands on. The children love it.

This was far more than I anticipated. I had my 6 yr old grandson with me and WOW! He wasn't very excited when I told him we were going to a 'museum'. But that sure changed. His favorite parts in the museum were 'climbing into the clouds' & the 'water room'. He was so busy the entire time. I read... More

This place is amazing. I brought my two year old granddaughter here, and she was busy for hours. We could have stayed much longer, were it not for other commitments. She (and I!) enjoyed everything! I was astounded at the displays- from the grocery shopping experience, to the farm, to the news casting, to the water display. So well done!... More
