When we decided to go out to the distillery I thought we were actually touring a facility, as it turns out it's only tasting rooms and a couple of gift shops. It was so much fun. The grounds are beautiful, the ladies that did our tastings gave us a memorable experience and we had more flavors of vodka/moonshine & liquors... More

This place is a little out of the way but it is worth it if you like flavored spirits. There is a winery on the same property but we only sampled the hard alcohol. Their specialty is flavored vodka but they also have moonshine, whisky and rum. With some of the mixtures are hard to tell there is much alcohol... More

Visited with my wife, son and daughter-in-law and had a great time! Got there about lunch and had a burger before the tasting! Our hostess was EXCELLENT and were allowed to chose the spirits we wanted to sample! Pours were more than enough and then you could purchase bottles of your favorites! Tried the newer Sweet Tea Whiskey and brought... More

Firefly is famous for their delicious sweet tea vodka. But they have much more... including liquors like Banana Pudding and Moonshine. All very tasty. We love to stop by Firefly on Wadmalaw Island. It's about 30 minutes from Kiawah. It's next to a winery with tastings as well. $6 per person (cash or charge ). The Distillery Rep will guide... More

A friend and I decided to check out this "off the beaten path" Charleston area attraction this month and had a wonderful time! When we first arrived, I was skeptical. We were starving and were told to expect food at the venue. There was one food truck present that served just the basics - hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. They were... More

I was a little unsure about doing a tasting of spirits as I don't usually like spirits without mixers but this experience changed my thinking! All of the different varieties we tasted (there were two of us so we also tried each other's) were so good! The bartender/mixologist was so knowledgable and friendly. I definitely recommend visitors to make the... More

Firefly distillery I'd located in the middle of nowhere but it has such a cute setup. The winery is also located onsite so you can taste at both. We just tasted at the distillery and it was so much fun. Rhonda was enthusiastic and got everyone involved.

A two for one tour. First, the distillery is a fun place to try spirits. Good bartenders allow trials for a slight flight fee. You can buy vodka and whiskey onsite. Next door is the winery tour, specializing in Muscadine wines. Wine for sale here too. Deep in the woods, a short ride from Charleston.

We stayed in downtown Charleston so it was a bit of a drive (about 30 minutes) but it was worth it in the end. We did the distillery and winery tours which was a good deal, $11 for both. The winery was hit or miss and they are all muscadine wines. The distillery made up for that part. They have... More
