Visited on a Saturday afternoon with a 2nd family of four. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied with the petting zoo, swings and other playground. Meanwhile the adults had a great time at the tasting room and the winery next door. A band was there and plenty of food.

We found Firefly fun, enjoyable and interesting. It is definitely worth the trip from Charleston out to the Low Country to visit. We have visited twice and the employees have been wonderful both times. The vodka tasting is interesting and you get to keep the shot glass. This last time we visited there was a Vietnamese food truck. They have... More

We took the scenic route (17) on our way to Charleston from Savannah. This place would have been a little difficult to find without the GPS. But what a find! We did tastings at both the distillery and vineyard. Really like the muscadine wines-fruity and sweet. Firefly Sweet Bourbon is only sold locally, so definitely get some there! The moonshine... More

We went to all 3 attractions on Wadmalaw Island (Charleston Tea Plantation & Irvin Vinyards the other 2). We enjoyed Firefly the best, though I suggest visiting all 3 if your making the trip. The tasting at Firefly went well, and we bought two bottles to take home, an apple pie "moonshine" and a cocunut cake liquor that should be... More

First - Firefly Distillery and Irvin House Vineyards are the same place. Add on the Tea Plantation - and I do HIGHLY recommend a lazy day on Wadmalaw Island. However, this place really misses being awesome - it's just okay. The tasting price is $6 and you get to try 6 spirits and keep the shot glass. The woman ignored... More

We are very sorry for not welcoming you on our property- we believe everyone needs to be greeted!! We do only sell 750mls bottles on site so travelers coming by plane must check a bag if they want to take a bottle home. We aren't fans of this rule, but it is the way of the land! I invite you... My daughter had visited Firefly a while back and suggested that my husband and I check it out while we were in Charleston for a pleasure trip. We had hoped to do a morning ride at Middleton Stables but they couldn't get us in until 3 so we decided to ride out and see the Angel Oak. We still had... More

Had a great time at the taste testing- wish we could have seen the distillery process being done (their insurance doesn't allow for it at this time). Lots of different flavors to try so many should be able to find something to enjoy. Despite just starting, Wanda was terrific and made our day! Fee for tasting, but worth it.

We relished this opportunity to tour and sample the home of "FireFly Spirits with Southern Flavour". We were quitev cognizant of the basic vodka and bourbon products. We were quite surprised to be able to sip and sample the variety of uniquely flavoured Moonshine offerings. All the products are available to purchase and take home for consumption and/or presents.

Drive out onto Wadmalaw and drive until you think there could be nothing left and then there is this great little place tucked away! We have been to many wineries and enjoy the experience. The price is minimal for the tasting and glasses. The wines are reasonably priced. All are varieties of muscadines, the South Carolina grape (also known as... More

I loved the building/barn! I went on a Saturday when they had some vendors with food, entertainment, and shops. To be honest, I think it would have been boring without the winery and the outdoor festival. But with everything combined, it is a great trip! I take everyone here when they come to visit. The liquor tasting has a very... More
