Wanting to get out of Charleston for a bit we enjoyed the 40 minute drive to this lovely winery. Not at all hard to find, it's set back off the road and surrounded by the vineyard and woods. The tasting was nice with decent helpings of the wine. While too sweet for my tastes, you can tell the family run... More

The staff was so nice and great little wine tasting. Tried about six different wines and got to keep the wine glass! A fun thing to do while on the island!!

We visited Irvin House Vineyards and Firefly Distillery on our way back to charleston. Great wines to taste n purchase. The men sampled rum n moonshine at the distillery. We made a few purchases I think the men had too much fun.

We learned of this winery when at the Charleston Tea Plantation. We enjoyed tasting 5 different wines, all made from Muscatine grapes. We didn't leave without purchasing a few bottles. It might be worth it to time your visit to coincide with the times that they have food trucks on the property.

What a wonderful surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering any and all questions. Loved the few farm animals they had around the property and their "attack" bunnies! While we visited when the vineyards were not awake from the winter, it was a delightful way to spend the afternoon. I would love to visit at Harvest time, as... More

A tasting is $5 for five wines. You have to wait for specific times, and if a bus comes, you may get bumped. The wine is all made from muscadine grapes, so the wine is sweet and for the most part tastes like grapes. Great if you like that, but it's not for everyone. The winery shares a property with... My husband and I visited the winery as a part of the Low Country Trolley Tours Island Sip and See Tour (highly recommend) and had a fun time at the winery. The staff was very friendly and the family ran winery atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed a lovely picnic on the garden tables and got to try a fair amount... More

We had a really nice time checking out this vineyard and distillery even though it was in March. The wines were really great and we were able to learn about the health benefits of this wine as well as how the owner's got started during our wine tasting. We also tasted some vodka's, whiskey's and more at the distillery. All... More

I want to start by saying that this vineyard is gorgeous, especially during the fall. I've been before and was very impressed by the location. However, I attended the Oyster Roast this past weekend and experienced probably one of the least organized events I've ever attended. There was no one directing traffic and parking, so there were cars parked randomly... More

Thank you for your review. Due to county law, since the event wasn't considered a "festival" we had to sell tickets. We agree with you that the lines were way too long and there wasn't enough signage to get the points across. This event is only in its infancy and next year, we are making it a festival so we...
