We stayed in cabin 24 for four nights for Memorial Day Weekend 2015. My family also had cabin 22 & 23. If you book cabins here pay attention to cabin size as it varies from cabin to cabin. We had four families with us and children ranging from 18 months to 17 years old. Plenty of room around the Cabins... More

We visited for the first time today. Walked every trail, toured the lake, visited the park store and welcome center then walked the fishing pier and were so pleased we booked a cabin for a week. Just a very pretty park with lots of amenities, playgrounds, fishing pier, cabins, camping the whole deal.

Had a very nice site on Lake Marion and really liked it. You have the ability to fish right at your site. The rest rooms and showers are a little dated, but, still very usable. The laundry room, not so much.

Stopped before we left santee, lake Marion was hugh, and the trees in the middle of the lake was awesome, I've never seen that before, it cost $2.00 a person to get close to the water, but we just wanted to veiw the lake and take a few pics.

This is a beautiful place. So quiet and peaceful. The walking trails are cool. They have a play ground for the children. The family loved bicycling around the park. The fishing is most spectacular.

We really enjoyed staying at this park!!! Our site had a nice view of the lake, and had lots of privacy as there were no sites behind us. The park store, fishing pier and park office are all very nice and convenient. Enjoyed the nature museum in the office...they also have free WiFi, books, games and DVD's to borrow! Enjoyed... More

This state park campground is going to be hard for me to rate because my wife loves the seclusion. My problem with this park is the road in the campground. We have a 40 foot motorhome and the ruts and pot holes will shake an rv a part. The campground is dirt and the roads leading to the campground is... More

This town is all about the golf. There are at least two golf courses close by. But f you don't care for golf, there is fishing in the two lakes nearby (one in the state park). But even if you don't care for either, this is a nice place to stay and just look at the lake. Nearby is the... More
