We took this tour two summers ago and enjoyed it so much we wanted to go again! Brooks and Kay took 22 of our extend family members on two boats to a couple of new places on Lake Jocassee. It is such a beautiful body of water, you've got to see it to believe something like this has been preserved... More

I took this tour with my 3 sisters and dear friend ....Brooks is so knowledgable about the lake and the history of the area. We had a boat full but had ample room ......he took us to some beautiful waterfalls where we were allowed to swim ....to end the evening we tied all 3 tour boats together for a swim... More

Brooks was a delight as a tour guide/boat captain. Our family enjoyed the day on the lake and will definitely be coming back for more. Learned a lot about the area, swam in the pristine water, played in waterfalls, and discovered that there is a lot more we want to explore in the Gorges and on the lake. Can't wait... More

We had an amazing time on this tour, well worth the cost. Kay shared a lot of knowledge about the lake and her enthusiasm was contagious. I was amazed at how close she was able to get the boat to the waterfalls. The highlight of the tour was getting to swim under one of the waterfalls. I would highly recommend... More

I had an absolutely marvelous time on Wednesdays tour around the lake. "Kaptain" Kay shared so much information about the lake, past and present as well as the nature in the area, but I felt as if she had so much more to share. God willing I will definitely be back next year in the hopes of trying one of... More

This lake is gorgeous and Brooks provides a wealth of fascinating information about the history of the area, the energy production, and the biodiversity. He seems to know this lake like the back of his hand and shows many hidden gems.

3 hours on one of the most beautiful lakes in the southeast for only $35 per person. A variety of tours--hiking, kayaking, waterfalls, wildlife, moonlight, sunset. Take a scheduled tour or arrange a private one. Offered by husband and wife team who are both certified naturalists. 2 of the nicest people you'd ever meet.

We rented 3 different kayaks from Jocassee lake tours. Reliable equipment and stress free pick up and return service. Brooks was friendly, punctual, flexible, polite and ready to help. The safety vests were dry, clean and smelled fresh!! Attached to them were clean and loud REI whistles. Enjoyable trip.
