We spent about two hours here...it's a great little spot to beat the heat or escape inside on a rainy day. We took five toddlers between the age of one and four and everyone enjoyed it. There are tons of animal exhibits to enjoy as well as a great toddler area for free imaginative play with blocks and dress up... More

We went to the museum to meet other children that were going to the same school as my child (5 yrs old). She was entertained nicely for 2 hours+ until the staff made us leave for closing time. I will warn that the wolf scene area may be too intense for some young children as it depicts a deer being... More

We absolutely love our little museum with such great historical presence! Snap Crackle pop..who knew that started all from a fellow Rock Hillian?! It's so awesome seeing all his original art work and the fun place for kids to use their imagination! A great learning tool for ages 2 to 100! 🙌

Very Nice little museum in York County, SC. We had people form 11-84 years old and they all found things of interest. A nice gift shop. Close parking.

My almost ten year old daughter and I attended on a Saturday. I had an idea of what to expect from their website and was pleasantly surprised to see it meet and exceed my expectations. My daughter wasn't excited that we were going to a museum, but as soon as she walked in the door, she was enthralled! We spent... More

I took my granddaughters ages 5 and 8 one afternoon. It was a first time visit for all of us. What a surprise! The animal exhibits are fabulous. There were a lot of "ooh's and aah's" and of course picture taking. There is also a play room and the girls played there for at least a couple of hours. They... More

This museum was just big enough for children and teens as well as adults to hold their interest. It had a wonderful collection of animal species.

I was so surprised at the size and number of really cool exhibits in the York County Museum. It was like being in a miniature Natural History Museum. Animals of the area, animals of Africa, A naturalist center where you can get hands-on with fossils and other things. A planetarium with three attractions playing in rotation. A nice gift shop,...
