After loving Caledonia I was excited to check out True Blue. I have played the majority of courses in the area. Started at Bag drop guys were fine to start tipped them immediately. Check in club house was fine staff was friendly. Back to our carts/bags guys are sitting around talking about parting last night and chasing girls. No big... More

A course with a great layout and some truly spectacular holes. Plenty of water. A true challenge. It's also quite different in that there are a number of holes including the first two, where you can easily land in 'wasteland'. These areas look like bunkers but the local course rules allow free drops in these areas. Takes a bit of... More

Went there with group of 8 for annual golf trip. disappointed. Was looking forward to playing this course. course was not maintained well at all. Heavy leaf collection in sand traps, fairways had clumps of previous cut grass that looked like a river down the fairway. Greens were terrible. for the prices they charge expected much better.

We played Caledonia on 4/9 and it was as nice as its reputation and then we played True Blue on 4/11 and it was as poor as any course in MB. The greens had not grown in and there was exposed dirt. The entire course was neglected with un mowed rough, stones in the bunkers and unrated, un raked leafs... More

A large group recently played True Blue (True Dirt) 3/30/15 and were not impressed with the shape or the cost of the round. The fairways were thin at best and greens were slow and bumpy. I understand a harsh winter in SC takes some of the blame but with the cost of the round and the amount of play they... More

A friend and I played this course last week and could not have been happier. From the young man at the pro shop to the young gentlemen that helped us at the bag drop/starter house we were treated with a smile and friendly conversation. The day was cold so there was a delay starting, during that time the two young... More

I loved this course, challenging, immaculate, open areas, well kept. I think it is a challenging enough for all levels of play. As a 15 handicapper my self, I would come back in a heart beat! Good service from check in to tee box. Only issue is that they get caught up in more of the tourist stuff like photos... More

This was the first time playing True Blue It was AWESOME, This course along with Caledonia rate up to the top we have played in Myrtle Beach area. This is a must for golf outings, well worth the price can't wait to play them again.

Another course we have to play every visit. We love the layout and it was in great condition. Pricey but worth it. They give a small discount if you play True Blue and Caledonia. Unfortunately, pace of play was terrible but rangers took corrective action that helped a little. First time it was that bad; we'd still highly recommend it.

This has to be one of the two best courses in Pawleys Island. The fairways are fairly generous and in great shape. The greens are fast and have a lot of undulations. The staff are very friendly and you really feel welcome at the bag drop and also the pro shop. I would defiantly be playing this course on my... More
