Southern plantation golf at its finest: fairways are bordered by ancient cypress and live oak trees; fresh water lakes and marshes dictate much of the play; and historic manors of a by-gone era now cater to returning golfers.

It'd been 21 years since I was last here. In 1993 I had not much golf experience so I had no guidelines. Since I have played Augusta Natl, Pine Valley, St Andrews, Carnoustie and others. Heritage club is a golf wannabe. Greens are ridiculous. One or two like that is plenty, 18 is just awful. Plus they RUIN the course... More

Very nice lay out. It has huge and ondulated greens. Average speed , perhaps slower than usual due to overseeding. The course can play quite challenging from the tips. The course usually offers lunch and 2 beers with every round. Restaurant staff is pleasant and provided great service. The Pro shop has very little variety and the clothing is overpriced.

I just got back from four days of playing golf in the Myrtle Beach area. We got to play the Heritage Club on our last day. The golf course was gorgeous and in great shape. On the plane ride back home I had time to reflect. The Heritage Club is located on an old plantation and the old slave cemetery... More

My first time visiting SC for a tournament. I drew Heritage Club as one of my four courses. Though extremely challenging and humbling to a first timer, this was the most beautiful course of the 4. The others being Moorland (ugh!), World Tour and Oyster Cove. I loved the layout. The demand for lay ups and my resistance to playing... More

You simply can't beat the deal to play golf at this challenging course in Pawleys. Nestled inland about a mile and a half off Hwy. 17, the prices are unreal, the deals including meals are unrivaled, and the course is always is excellent shape.

The Heritage Club has a great staff who are there to make your golf experience one of the best. The course is in great shape and most holes are extremely interesting whether you play from the tips, whites, or senior tees. Definitely one of the best courses in the area.

We were looking forward to playing here since it's rated as one of the best courses in the State and is also nationally recognized by Golf Digest. From the minute we arrived, when the cart guys knew our name to the classic professionally run pro shop, we were impressed. Then there's the golf course. There is a great variety of... More

This was my second visit to the Heritage Club - last year was a very rainy fall morning and this year the weather was perfect. Like all the Legends courses, the round comes with breakfast, lunch and two drinks. First off, the breakfast was pretty much gone when I had arrived. It was slowly replenished but it was evident they... More

The staff was very welcoming and the course was a scenic wonder. Course was well taken care of and much more reasonable than some of the other courses nearby that play on their reputation and charge so much more, but don't deliver anything more than what you find at Heritage Club. Plus, you get free lunch and 2 drinks anytime... More
