That is what we were told to play when there was no one in sight behind us. Harrassed constantly by Marshall's for no reason as were in sight of the group ahead. Most unpleasant round we have had in 30+ years of MB trips. Conditions were terrible compared to the other 5 courses we played. Even the wait staff rushed... More

We did not encounter rudeness by any off the staff as others have commented upon. In fact our meal was good and the staff was congenial and helpful. From tee to green the course was okay. However, the greens were vicious with ledges, ridges, spines and valleys and the pin placements were sadistic. This may be a bit of hyperbole... More

Took 20 golfers on the last day of a 3 day Ryder Cup format competition to play the singles match play at Heritage. Marshalls started harassing us after 4 holes and even blocked the cart path to the 18th(started on back) and told 2 of our groups they had to tee off from the 150 yd marker. We were at... More

Nice scenic course in OK condition. There are better courses to play in the area. The specials are good but with them brings hoards of people and tremendously long rounds of golf - even in the afternoons. We played on a hot Sep afternoon and had to wait on every shot - not fun. Our round took 5 hours. We... More

This golf course is spectacular, similar in low country feel (2 Live Oak Allees with Spanish Moss that once led to historic rice plantation Mansions) to Caledonia except cost is half as much and they provide breakfast , lunch and 2 beers with every round. Course in 2010 ranked #33 of all Public Course in US( Golf Digest) higher than... More

Nice course (scenic) and they are working on it. There are better courses to play in the area. The specials are good but there is usually tremendously long rounds of golf. Too many people are crowded onto the course during popular ties. Restaurant is good for snack foods. Play it if you like the view but reserve at least 5... More

While rates vary depending upontime of year, you get a great value package with food, dring, cart and golf. Restaurnat is OK / average. Golf course is usually in fine condition especially for the high volume of play it gets. Challenging Golf and the best value in 30 mile dadius.

Worth the drive - a bit out of the way and directions are not the best but when you get there they treat you right and the course is both fun and challenging. Pick the right tees and you will have a fun day. Play this and Oyster Bay but skip the rest of the legend courses

Heritage Club was one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played. The greens were in perfect shape - be careful, the greens were also very fast. Fairways were beautifully trimmed. Abundant wildlife including dozens of alligators (especially the last few holes), snakes, turtles, large and colorful birds. My only complaint was the noise made by several lawnmowers operating at...
