Southern plantation golf at its finest: fairways are bordered by ancient cypress and live oak trees; fresh water lakes and marshes dictate much of the play; and historic manors of a by-gone era now cater to returning golfers.

Beautiful and challenging course

My son (9 handicap) and I (15 handicap) played our second 18 of the day at Heritage Club. The course was beautiful and in really good shape. It was a little crowded so we spent... read more

This is the second time I have played this beautiful course. Everything about this course is great, including the employees. The BIG problem is the pace of play. The course books tee Times 8 minutes apart, and starts groups on the front, and back 9 at the same time. Our round of golf took 5.5 hrs, which is unacceptable. We... More

Driving up the driveway to the course set the tone for this place. Thoroughly enjoyed our day here. The place is beautiful the golf was great. Set on an old plantation walking into the clubhouse you get that old south feeling. The staff were friendly and informative the course was challenging and beautiful. The crocodiles keep you on your toes... More

16 of us played and the course is lovely considering recent weather. There are some really pretty holes and some great challenges. This is a club worth visiting lots of times.

This is one of the best courses in the Myrtle Beach area and our group considers it a definite top five and one you have to play if coming the Pawley's Island and Myrtle Beach area. The entrance is beautiful and the clubhouse takes you back to another era. The grounds and course are so scenic with several historical landmarks.... More

I have played many of the courses along the Grand Strand (Horry and Georgetown County) over the last few years. This course is challenging, in great shape and is beautiful. It would be hard to beat the deal of Breakfast, 18 Holes and Cart, as well as Lunch and 2 drinks for under $40.00. You should do yourself a favor... More

My teenage son and I played here on a Saturday morning with the breakfast / lunch / drink deal. We had mixed feelings about the course, so here are the two points of views: Mom (high handicapp) Pace of play was painful. 5 hours and 20 minutes. They overbooked the course, it wasn't due to slow play from what we... More

Played Heritage today with my wife and what a great experience. Just like Oyster Bay last year, everyone there makes you feel special. Beautiful entrance to the course and clubhouse is special. Fairways and greens were fantastic and in this heat too! My wife and I are not great golfers but we had and excellent experience. When in Pauley's Island,... More

My group of 7 played the Heritage Club on the 1st day of a 5 day trip to Myrtle Beach. The week earlier the entire 5 days were supposed to be in the 60s, but on that morning at 10 AM the temp. was 42* and the wind was blowing at 25-30 mph. Not the best conditions, especially for a... More

My son (9 handicap) and I (15 handicap) played our second 18 of the day at Heritage Club. The course was beautiful and in really good shape. It was a little crowded so we spent more time waiting than we would have liked. We played from the blue tees and there were a few holes that stretched my length a... More

Very nice course, great conditions. Greens were very nice. "All inclusive" included breakfast, lunch and 2 beers but not range balls. Only problem was the pace of play was painfully slow. They send groups off both sides every 8 minutes. Results in a packed course with lots of backups. Enjoyed the course, but probably would not go back because of... More
