I’m not sure exactly what the clubhouse restaurant is named, but it is an exquisite plantation house venue in the style from the antebellum era. If it is not an original than it is a wonderful replication. The drive into this place is charming under the oaks and right next to the marsh and tidal creek. I am not a... More

This experience would have been a 5 out of 5, but for the restaurant experience. More on that later. This course and golf staff were fantastic! Though pricy, it is well worth the $$$ for the golfing experience. Beautiful car drive up a tree lined road, courteous young men getting your bags ready, knowledgable starter (Paul), and attentive Rangers. Paul... More

lovely, fun course. Rained out after 9 the first time to play. Rain check, showed up two days later,,,fun first nine than. Was behind a jr. Tournament. Really slow. All they could do was give us a 5 year chance to play 9. Already purchased 9.... Player beware. Also, all greens in the area have been aerated and sanded. Forget... More

This place is the "garden of Eden" of Pawleys island. Friendly staff, great pro shop, great people. Cannot say enough about caledonia. Pristine from top to bottom. My only small complaint is the bunkers, they were a little bare. I brought my wife, for company and she loved every minute. I think she took a million pictures. The staff welcomed... More

As for golf, one word..... beautiful !!! Driving down the lane of Spanish Moss trees, sure makes you drive the speed limit of 23mph (or less to take in the view). Come to the rotary/club house, very southern style (awesome) ! Every employee greeted us with a friendly smile and great sense of humor. The course layout was great and... More

Caledonia was the best manicured course I have ever played on and one of the prettiest. I am a 15 handicap and my son is a 9, I wanted to play from the whites. We were both long enough to have played from the blues, but the course was still challenging. We were both striking our irons really well, and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our round at Caledonia. Great conditions, good pace of play, outstanding layout. This was the best of 5 courses we played in Pawleys Island. Great practice area for short game, but no driving range. So, go to True Blue to warm up before going to Caledonia.

What a great gold course. In excellent condition and we were made very welcome. Love the setting especially the 18th and the comments as you hit over water. You are rewarded with a cheer if you make it! Disappointed we could not eat so a quick couple of beers before heading off for food. Golf shop well stocked and very... More

Caledonia is a fantastic course thats designed for all level of golfers. IT IS GORGEOUS!!! There are holes that you swear are at Augusta National. The 11th hole a par 3 is framed against a stream running along the left and a unique green. EVERY HOLE IS A PICTURE BOOK....... Conditions were spectacular and worth every pennie.

If you are thinking a playing golf in Myrtle Beach don't miss this cracker of a course. It's amongst the most spectacular course I have played in the USA. Visually stunning and meticulously kept. The greens are truly fantastic. All 18 holes are without exception just wonderful to play. Great challenge but if you dare go from the back tees.... More
