The course itself is spectacular. It's deceptively long and very penalizing on errant shots. There very little room around the greens for missed shots. This is a thinkers course. The staff was friendly and accommodating. You will be paired up and you will most likely play a 5 hour round. If that bothers you, go somewhere else. It doesn't feel... More

Not golfing. Just a large group of friends gathered for Sunday lunch. Service was excellent, in spite of our large group. Fried oyster platter was probably one of the best I have ever enjoyed. Oysters were plump, succulent, perfectly battered and fried just right. Side salad was very good. Fries were a large portion. Other dishes at our table looked... More

16 of us played and the course is lovely considering recent weather. There are some really pretty holes and some great challenges. This is a club worth visiting lots of times.

First time golfing there and we were looking forward to it. We drove up to the Bag Drop and the guys were great at getting our clubs out and putting them on the cart. We had pre paid and I went inside and got everythig taken care of, We got on our carts and asked where the Driving range was.... More

I would give the course a "5"... picturesque, challenging but fair. Staff, except for the young lady organizing the bags/carts, was at best was uninterested or, like the starter, a complete jerk. Hate to say it, but I won't be back with my group of 16 anytime soon.. if ever. They do need to figure out who is the customer...... More

I’m not sure exactly what the clubhouse restaurant is named, but it is an exquisite plantation house venue in the style from the antebellum era. If it is not an original than it is a wonderful replication. The drive into this place is charming under the oaks and right next to the marsh and tidal creek. I am not a... More

This experience would have been a 5 out of 5, but for the restaurant experience. More on that later. This course and golf staff were fantastic! Though pricy, it is well worth the $$$ for the golfing experience. Beautiful car drive up a tree lined road, courteous young men getting your bags ready, knowledgable starter (Paul), and attentive Rangers. Paul... More

lovely, fun course. Rained out after 9 the first time to play. Rain check, showed up two days later,,,fun first nine than. Was behind a jr. Tournament. Really slow. All they could do was give us a 5 year chance to play 9. Already purchased 9.... Player beware. Also, all greens in the area have been aerated and sanded. Forget... More

This place is the "garden of Eden" of Pawleys island. Friendly staff, great pro shop, great people. Cannot say enough about caledonia. Pristine from top to bottom. My only small complaint is the bunkers, they were a little bare. I brought my wife, for company and she loved every minute. I think she took a million pictures. The staff welcomed... More

As for golf, one word..... beautiful !!! Driving down the lane of Spanish Moss trees, sure makes you drive the speed limit of 23mph (or less to take in the view). Come to the rotary/club house, very southern style (awesome) ! Every employee greeted us with a friendly smile and great sense of humor. The course layout was great and... More
