Pawleys is full of ghost stories and All Saints Church is home to one of the most famous. The grave of Alice Flagg, a young daughter of a plantation owner with a forbidden love, rests at this church. Many rings have been placed there in honor of her. If you are looking to attend a church service here, All Saints... More

After reading about the tragic life of Alice Flagg and her ghost story, we decided to visit the grave. Its in the graveyard of All Saints church on Pawley's Island. A beautiful church and grounds. Old oaks draped in Spanish moss and many old grave markers, we also learned that a Mr. Weston is buried there also his ghost is... More

My husband and I visited this church while staying in Pawley's Island. There is a good sized cemetary next to the church with a lot of really old tombstones. We were actually looking for the tombstone of Alice after reading the history of her life. We were unable to find her tombstone but we did see a lot of tombstones... More

Very old cemetary. Some older ones in Charleston. Had to visit Alice's grave! Didn't see her, bummer. Takes just a little bit of time to go through. Nice little stop!

This is a beautiful old church with a beautiful cemetery. It's worth the 5 minute drive from the beach area. I would like to try their Wednesday service next time we're back in the area.

I love old churches and the old cemetery. We had heard a local legend of a gravesite in the cemetery, so we took a look around. Very cool if you enjoy old headstones.

Our family loves history, especially cemeteries. When we read about the sad love story of Alice Flagg, we knew it would be a choice spot to visit while on vacation this summer. We were not disappointed. The beauty of this historical church and cemetery were beyond compare. With the big old trees hung with Spanish moss, the dragon flies buzzing... More
