We played after 1:00 p.m. for $28.+ tax...friendly staff. will play it again this Friday. U can usually finish 18 holes even if u start after 2:00 p.m. Excellent value.

The whole place is well run and we enjoy the course layout and challenges. Fairways in good shape, greens a little slow, but it is early. There is water but not if you hit it straight! Staff friendly and attentive to speed of play. One of our favourites.

Played a practice round before the 2013 Golf.com World Amateur at River Club. The course was in excellent condition. Myrtle Beach had gotten a lot of rain prior to our visit and all during the summer but the course was in great shape. The greens were just about perfect. The course was very well manicured. The staff was very friendly.... More

We are completing a three week stay in the area and played golf almost every day. We played at Tradition, Litchfield Country Club, Willbrook, Heritage, The Reserve (private club) and Indian Wells. We unanimously agreed that River Club was our top choice. The greens were perfect (fast) and the overall condition of the course was excellent. The staff was courteous... More

We visit Pawley's Island every year for a golf vacation and started playing River Club about three years ago. It has become our favorite course. It is challenging with lots of water and sand, but the course is in excellent shape, beautifully manicured and very well maintained. EVERYONE on staff there goes above and beyond to make sure you have... More

First time playing here. People were very friendly. Lots of course info from starter. FAST greens but fair. Found lots of sand, not used to that back home, but quality sand traps. Had an enjoyable round, but extremely hot. Lots of drinking water on course. Good time had by all.

The greens were maintained very nicely and the staff were very nice and helpful! We got a lot of rain and had to sit at the pro shop for a while and the staff was very accommodating and kept checking on us! What more could we ask for? Great value and a great group of people!

This course epitomizes southern golf, with tons of water, hanging moss, alligators, and verdant fairways. It was much more challenging and better kept than many of the other courses in the area, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I am not a great golfer by any stretch. The course is well laid out and marked, in great shape, with... More

The course was in pretty good condition and has lots of sand traps. If you ever play a course that you feel is built between the sand, this is one! The fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. The front 9 seemed tougher than the back 9. I'd say a good value and a fairly short round.

First it took us a while to find the place as their actual address is different to their postal address!! Be warned. Also difficult to find a number that connects to the pro shop. The course is challenging but fair. There are places to bail out on most holes, and a par is relatively easy on the "challenging' 18th even... More
