Similar to Branson and Pigeon Forge, Myrtle Beach has several theater entertainment venues. The Alabama Theater is one of the best. Good clean family entertainment. I especially liked the comedian. He was funny and did not spew F bombs like so many of today's comedians do. This is a show you can take your mama to and not be embarrassed.

We've seen this show each year for the last three years. Updated and changed each time. Absolutely one of the best shows in the area! One of the few shows with great family entertainment values including a variety of music genres. We will visit this show again next year!

After visiting the area for a long time, we finally made a trip to the Alabama Theatre. The theatre has plenty of parking and the exterior is well maintained. Inside, the concession area looks like a weary movie theatre, the bathrooms need updating, and the carpets are stained and dirty. The dancers were excellent and so were some of the... More

Last Saturday, we attended a sold-out "50's Dance Party," a tribute to Buddy Holly. The theatre was packed, and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the show. The seating is very comfortable, the acoustics were good, and the music was pleasant, without having to wear earplugs at other concerts we've attended. Bottom line - excellent show - excellent theatre!!

This was a great display of various types of music, dancing & comedy. The 2 & 1/2 hour show featured great backdrops, dancing to music from country to big band. The comedian was very funny. My wife & I saw the show with friends and all felt it was worth the $40 plus tax fee.

We attended the Jeanie Robertson show. She is just darling! Smart for the Alabama Theatre to bring in such great talent! The Ricky Mokel Show was terrific too! We'll be back!

We saw "One",the show, and had the best time ever. This is a wonderfully entertaining show with singing, dancing, and big production numbers. Costume changes galore. Not just country music, but appealing to everyone. Not a bad seat in the house. This is a must see.

I am not a country fan and was "dragged" into this by the group, but it turned out to be very enjoyable and not too country at all. It included show stopping numbers like "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, and "Let it Go" from Frozen, along with a running comedy routine and truly outstanding vocals and musicians (the fiddle playing in...
