I had seen this attraction advertised on Barefoot Landing's website, and we decided to check it out during our most recent trip to North Myrtle beach. The "theatre" is basically the size, and style, of a small house. There is a cramped gift shop/ticket counter right inside the front door. The shop sells tickets, ghost books, toys, novelties, etc etc.... more

We've seen the show inside the theater twice, and we'd see it again. The effects still amazed our 11yr old daughter. This year we took in the ghost walk along with the show, and we were disappointed. The Show: It was great but very short for the normal $8.95 charge. The special effects do rival disney though and the stories are very interesting. The Walk: Was well worth the price paid. The Ghosts and Legends show was lots of fun and worth the price. Lots of neat special effects (think Haunted Mansion at Disneyland) mixed with neat tales of local hauntings. It's hard to find a good value for entertainment at the beach but Ghosts and Legend's ghost show and ghost walk was a great experience for my family and an awesome value. This is about a 20 minute sit down show of interesting local ghost stories and ledgends. The special effects during the stories kept you at the edge of your seat and gave me chills. Ghost and Legends in Barefoot Landing at Myrtle Beach was like a nice small slice of Universal Studios Florida right on the Grand Strand.
