Went to Barefoot Landing last night. Ghosts and Legends Theater was dark and had a sign on the door that said after 10 years of business they are now closed.

Enjoy it immensely--such a uniquely-designed haunted attraction. Show (every 30 minutes, inside) is well-designed; CDs of stories/music in the gift shop are a worthwhile purchase in our book. This year, we enjoyed the ghost walk--wonderful guide in Pirate Penelope with a cool side trip to the House of Blues! Gift shop is a good location to find local history/ghost story/legend... More

The Ghost and Legends theatre at Barefoot Landing offeres a "Skool for Pirates" that teaches kids 4-12 to be pirates. It was very cute. The kids did crafts, learned pirate games, got lots of treasure. The "Captin" did a great job. In character the whole time. Very good w/ the kids. You can either stay the 90 min or leave... More

I gave it an 5 star since I was there before and have done it a few times, but this is their last season, ( as of may 2012) so if you like ghost tales go now or they will be gone next year.

We went early one morning (I really wanted to go at night) and we were the only two in the theater. It was very fun, but I am a haunted house/stuff kind of person. I get scared to death but i love it! This was an "educational" show, but you jumped at parts. All the effects were pretty neat.

The decor was amazing and the special effects were great. One thing is that I didn't realize quite how scary it was going to be for a smaller child. I thought that it was just going to be actors dressed in period costume telling stories. If you have older children, they should be fine. I would skip the ghost walk... More

This show was very fun and affordable. The stories are presented by ghosts being the storytellers. It wasn't too scary but definately enjoyable. We will visit again
