Conveniently located in N. Myrtle w/ plenty of parking. The music is great! The dance floor is a really nice size and the beach music is to die for! If you don't shag dance, you'll want to learn when you visit Fat Harold's Beach Club. I love this place!

great dance floor, great music, but super crowded. This is the Mecca for shag dancers. During SOS (April or Sept), it is overly crowded. And, you have to have an SOS card or pay $10. It's a great place to watch great dancers, whether you dance or not. The food is typical bar food. The drinks are reasonable.

Leave your dancing shoes home unless you're really good. The skill level increases as the night progresses. We'd had a few Shag lessons but not enough to compete with these cats.

Had the honor to sit with the famous "Fat Harold" at the club. Was treated like we were old friends and spent most of the evening listening to great beach music. The Fantastic Shakers were playing that night and were GREAT....Good time was had by all.....cant wait to return in Mat 2012
