great dance floor, great music, but super crowded. This is the Mecca for shag dancers. During SOS (April or Sept), it is overly crowded. And, you have to have an SOS card or pay $10. It's a great place to watch great dancers, whether you dance or not. The food is typical bar food. The drinks are reasonable. More

Leave your dancing shoes home unless you're really good. The skill level increases as the night progresses. We'd had a few Shag lessons but not enough to compete with these cats. More
