Plan on spending several hours (maybe an entire day and evening). There are so many interesting shops and restaurants it's overwhelming. Parking can be a challenge during the "on season" but it's worth it. If you aren't "over fed and over shopped" you can continue into the evening with a visit to the Alabama Theater or the House of Blues.... More

Spend some time strolling the boardwalk, the sidewalk along the waterfront and intracoastal waterway, catch a drink in the outside bars. Nice relaxing evening.

It was ok. We didn't spend a lot of time there. Lots of stores but you can only go in so many stores before it all starts looking the same. I did here the alligator adventure was great but was unable to go myself. Would like to try that sometime.

We went to BL for dinner at Dick's Last Resort (see my review before going!) and because my 15 year old son wanted to go to Ron Jon's. In one area, there seemed to be a specialty t-shirt store every other store front. The grounds seemed unkept (trash in the lagoons) and the layout is confusing. If you want to... More

I have been there twice as there is one shop that I liked. An hour or two of walking around is enough. Could use some improvement !

This is an excellent venue for families and couples. You can shop and eat while enjoying the lovely nature based theme and views. There are performers there often and you can also enjoy fireworks on certain nights. It is a fun place to spend a night walking around.
