The place sure is nothing like it used to be. It is very run down and lots of empty stores. The walkway bridges over the water are in terrible shape. They need lots of repair done on them. They are rotten looking and very unstable feeling as you walk across many of them. It really gives you an uneasy feeling.... More

Getting a little run down compared to Broadway At The Beach but we loved the restaurants and the Taffy shop

Great place to shop & eat from Kryptonite Character Store (great place for the inner nerds & geeks) to Joe's Crab Shack (place seafood around) to little bouquets with great prices. Great place for the whole entire family with Ripley's, movies, speedboat rides... List goes on & on!!!

There were so many shops and restaurants, you need two days to see it all. Loved it. The bathrooms were clean and the area itself was pleasant.

A great golf course with a fair layout. Best of the choices at Barefoot. Especially liked the clubhouse service of free shoe cleaning.

Great assortment of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking at this outdoor mall and checking out the many special stores.

A nice shopping area, and very scenic too. But watch out for the guy in the booth asking you if you want free show tickets. They could cost you thousands of dollars and life-time maintenance fees if you go to the "2hr" showing of timeshares. Do yourself a favor and pay full price to see a show. Continue to walk... More

We always make a point to spend at least one evening at Barefoot Landing. We like exploring the shops and visiting Alligator Adventure. They have a nice blend of upscale stores for souvenirs and clothing, "beachy" stores, and shops for kids including candy stores where you can watch them make taffy.

A visit to Myrtle Beach isn't complete till you visit Barefoot Landing. So many novelty shops to browse through, places for snacks or meals. We enjoy the glass enclosure that allows visitors to view the tigers. Walk across the dock to the other level & stop to feed the fish & turtles on the way.
