Plenty of shops and restaurants. It's a nice change of pace from the beach. Lots for kids to do and see. Check to see when animals in T.I.G.E.R. booth are available for pictures.

Bring your walking shoes and be prepared to wait 2-3 hours for restaurants. Shopping was a lot of souvenier shops

Something for everybody there plus good restaurants. Fun and relaxing evening. Loved it much more than Broadway on the Beach.

Nice variety of restaurants and shops in a relaxed atmosphere. The kids enjoyed walking the floating walkways between shopping areas.

Barefoot is a great way to spend a day or an evening. Lots of tourists but locals love it as well! Good places to eat, shop and more. As a local for 20 years we still love going to Barefoot to browse through the great stores and have dinner. Flying fish is a new favorite!

This used to be the hot shopping/restaurant area but no longer! Many stores closed and very few people. Very on now goes to Broadway on the Beach.

Great little shops and some beautiful restaurants on the water. The Australian restaurant is wonderful with amazing views. This place is a little less flashy and crowded than Broadway at the Beach. It's always a place we hit a few times every trip. It's so pretty with little bridges connecting the two sections. Nice place to stroll after dinner. They... More

New owners of the property but shops are closing left and right. Need some more variety to compete with Broadway.

A very nice, popular shopping, eating and entertainment venue. The main entertainment is the Alabama Theatre which features country music shows during the summer in the evening. There are many restaurants, including the Flying Fish which we recently went to which was pretty good. There are too many shops to count. The salt water taffy there is nowhere near as... More
