I have visited Barefoot landing several times over the last few years and truly enjoyed the shopping experience. They have something for everyone, all the shops have amazing people working in them and they really want to make your shopping experience unique. You can find so many different kinds of gifts and always something for yourself. You will really enjoy... More

We come down to Barefoot Landing every time we come down to the area (2-3 times a year). Yesterday we stopped in a bunch of stores and purchased things we liked. One such store was the Christmas Mouse. Well my 16 year old bought a Dr. who ornament for $20. When we got it back to the house, 1/2 hour... More

This may be a popular tourist destination, but we weren't impressed. There are several shops and restaurants, but all very typical and average. The shops basically carry a vast amount of items made in China, so if you're looking for something hand-crafted and made in the USA, look elsewhere.

I thought this would be a fun place to take my wife shopping for her birthday and boy was I wrong! The scenery in parts of the complex is pretty but we could not find any unique shops with quality clothing. Every store carried the same lower quality brand called "Paradise" clothing line. And then there are the chains that... More

We visited Barefoot Landing for coffee during our trip to North Myrtle in last September/early October 2014. The experience was fine, but we found the variety of shops to be lacking in relation to the number of eateries. Not bad, but not necessarily something that I would go out of my way to experience.

Barefoot Landing used to be a shopping destination, now it is more a restaurant experience. The shops are dated and the whole center needs a facelift.. Be sure to go in the 2nd entrance for the Alabama Theatre and restaurants as it is a nightmare to go from shopping to restaurant with the present traffic pattern. Perhaps the Tangier outlet... More

We enjoyed walking around this area and browsing the shops. There are some neat places to see and lots of places to eat. We find things to be pretty pricey though.

This is a very unique experience. You feel like you are strolling through an old fishing village..there is water all around like a board walk. You can feed the fish...bring quaters!! Lots of unique shops.Restaurants abound...My favorite is Umberto's. But there are many to try..House of blue is just across the way...as is Alabama Theater...Just love this place!
