Spent the afternoon wandering around Barefoot Landing. Lots of cute shops and restaurants including Joe's Crab Shack, Greg Norman's, House of Blues and a few others.

We have always really enjoyed Barefoot Landing but they are entering tough times and many stores were empty, the maintenance is slipping and sadly it just was not the Barefoot Landing we remembered. We just hope they can bring it back.

Nice shops and restaurants. Pleasant place to walk for a few hours. Shops are touristy but still fun to look in.

Guest Services at our timeshare had recommended shopping at Boardwalk Landing. Although the view is quite nice as it is on the water, we found the shops very touristy with nothing out of the ordinary. Would not recommend this location if you are looking for a big shopping excursion.

Flying Fish and the bbq place are awesome to eat at. The Flying Fish has certified fresh seafood from south carolina! The motto is from the sea to the plate in 48! It was awesome!

Nice place to walk around. Lots of shops, and some cool activities for the kids. Alligator adventure is here, and many restaurants. Greg Norman's Australian Grill is delicious. Great waterfront dining. Great place to go on a overcast day or just if you need a break from the beach.

This is the place to go! Our 16 year old bothered us all week during our vacation to go. We finally gave in on our last day and did not regret it! From $1 items to $1,000 items. The jewerly and minerals from pollished to raw are amazing. Very neat place to shop.

Interesting place and shops. Many good places to eat. By far my favorite was taking a picture with the tigers. Lots of walking and I don't know how long the kids will last.

Enjoy plenty of restaurant choices, loads of shopping, entertainment such as Alabama Theater, House of Blues, or Alligator Adventure. Water views, people watching, open air, just walking around with your family or friends. During the tourist season, be prepared for walking (wear comfortable shoes), looking for a parking spot, crowds. There are benches for sitting, but they are often taken.... More
