I really love to see the turtles and fish at Barefoot Landing. You can feed them food and it is really entertaining to see! The shops are top notch and there are plenty of restaurants also. Recommended!

Built to look like a fishing village - but without the charm of other similar locations. Built around a small lake, there are stores for shopping, restaurants, and some attractions. Other than the store that sold olive oils and balsamic vinegars, it really came across as "been there, done that". Maybe it was that we visited during the day, but... More

This is a collection of shops with the usual tourist souvenirs, ice cream, lemonade, some restaurants and a bit of carny thrown in. When you walk across the long wooden bridge don't forget to gawk at the giant fish. The vending machines with food are there to encourage you to feed them which will draw a mob and maybe even... Don't let the name fool you, I think you should wear comfortable shoes when perusing Barefoot Landing. It is a great place to shop, eat, and just watch people. There are numerous shops that you have to look through and, really, there is something for everybody. There is something for the nerd in your life, the animal lover, the budding... More

When in North Myrtle Beach...this is a MUST STOP! Shops, boutiques, food, sweets (duck if you go into the taffy shop, where you see it made, they toss pieces for you to try), wine shop, Christmas Shop (if you cannot find the ornament here, it does not exist!)...such a fun place! Plan on spending the day!

I have been to Barefoot Landing many times over the years. It is a big place full of restaurants, stores, shows, etc. It can be a cool place to visit while in Myrtle Beach. You can wander around, have dinner, shop, etc. There was a cool bridge across the lake and sometimes you can see alligators in the water. They... More

Another trip on our "must do" list for our yearly visit to M.B. We love going to all the shops. Joe's Crab Shack is there and it's one of our favorites.

There was a nice variety of stores and things to see. It required a lot of walking and we did get pretty warm at times. Prices were kinda high, but no more than any other tourist area.
