what a blast we had!! Michael MacDonald you never disapoint. Great show!!! Kudos!! We loved the seating. Third row. It doesnt get any better than that.
Easy to unload and set up. Sound system actually works throughout the exhibit hall. Embassy Suites is connected by a skywalk, very convenient
This is the place to begin your touring of the area. Best parking here. We took a Historic city bus tour $68.00, which leaves from the Visitors Center. Then we purchased the Charleston Heritage Passport. Best value. $91.90 Admission to nine of the areas most important historic sites. Good for two days. Savings of 40% off regular price.
The lines to see a convention center rep was long, but once we got the the window, they were very helpful. You can get tickets for most anything there, but I wonde if especially for some of the tours, a person may get a better price dealing directly with the tour operator.
Could walk here from our hotel room. Smaller venue, facilities excellent, plenty of room, lots of snacks available thruout event. Bathrooms very convenient. Soundsystem not that great, but ok. Felt very safe coming and going.
Liked the option to purchase food onsite. Convenient location off interstate & near a great hotel, the Homewood Suites.
I liked that they recommended the passport which we purchased. We also purchased the carriage ride through them and I'd highly recommend that as well. The other thing I liked is that the parking in the visitor's center garage is so much more reasonable than so many other cities. Charleston - DON'T sell your garages. I have two other recommendations.... More
Easy to find, convenient parking, wide open lobby/reception area and spacious meeting rooms. Highly recommend for conventions.
If you're a Charleston newbie, start your visit here. Charleston exhibits inside the the building and a very informative staff. They can find a hotel or tell you about the many attractions in the area- can even get discount tickets to some of them. Free Trolley rides around the historic districts start and end here, so you can get on... More
have had a couple of job fairs and one big event with the National Guard. Rooms are good, parking is excellent as far as numbers although you can't get close to the doors. Difficult getting to the top areas with table dispay items due to few elevators.
