This very nice golf course which has been on the Strand since 1975, with 27 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones and a unique sky ride to access the course, has closed. The last day of play was Wednesday, June 24. The management company that had recently bought the course earlier in the year was unable to continue operations for... More

We played on a weekday. Fun starts in the parking lot when the cart guy puts you and your bags on a gondola for a sky lift ride over the inland waterway to the pro shop. Attentive staff on the other side quickly got our bags on a cart, quick in and out from the pro shop to pay and... More

The gondola ride is cool - but the golf course was better than advertised. Great shape all around. Staff is very friendly and genuinely glad to have us there. Easily worth the greens fee and fun layout on all 3 nines. We would go back again.

We purchased reduced green fees through our condo. It was fun going in the gondola over the intracostal waterway. Someone on each end helped with our clubs. We got there early to go the driving range. The starter let us tee off early which we really appreciated. We had a 1:30 tee time, which is the earliest time at the... More

Great fun, the condola ride across the river is unique and worth the visit, I played here many years ago and enjoyed the course. We played the Oakes and Lakes course. They need better hole signage however as our GPS didn't work ?? A really good standard Myrtle Beach course and well worth it. Staff were great, both sides of... More

The very best course to go to for a last minute tee times. Nice staff on the Rt. 17 side of the Tram and equally nice staff on the other side of the short tram ride. So, if you haven't done it yet, it's a Tram ride over the Intracoastal to the pro shop. Way cool. Great course conditions every... More

Standard MB design with tough greens (slope and break). First timers will find it a challenge to know your targets off the tees. Fun ride over the waterway to the clubhouse.

I had the opportunity to play this course a few days ago and I felt for $40 it was a good deal. The course was not busy and the staff were all very nice. My biggest complaint is that the ride over the inter-coastal takes a while, especially if the course is busy. The course itself was in great shape... More
