We are visiting Myrtle Beach around Christmas time. Due to the weather, there are limited things to do. We decided to try a few mini golf courses because we do like them, and Myrtle Beach has quite a few to offer. We went to Captain Hook's first due to the good reviews on tripadvisor and on Google. The courses weren't... more

I was with a group of me and my boyfriend, my 15 yr old niece and my 10 year old nephew. We went to Captain Hook's at night (in the dark) when it was sprinkling. We had a blast. We played BOTH courses, started with the "Lost Boys" and then did the other course with the pirate ship too. The... more

I simply can't understand the love for Mt. Atlanticus around here. That place is dingy and badly in need of repair. However, Captain Hook's is the absolute cream of the crop of mini-golf in MB. With a coupon, it's only seven bucks to play, which is a steal. I love the theme of both courses (although The Lost Boys course... more

Our family of four with two teenage boys played both courses and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entire course is fun and clean, with lots of unique things to look at along the way. We highly recommend it! more

My wife and I and our seven-year-old spent a nice evening at this mini-golf course. We had an hour and 45 minutes before closing at 9pm on a Sunday in late October. This gave us just enough time to complete one of the 18 hole courses, Hook's Challenge. (The other is Lost Boys.) Even though it was the off-season, things... more

We played both courses on August 18, 2008. The courses are beautiful and clean. The caves provide adequate shelter from the sun and rain. We played 10 holes and had to leave because of lightning. We retuned later and played both courses. Our entire family had fun, including our six year old daughter. We would definitely return again. Recommendation: If... more

I have been going to Myrtle Beach since I was a baby, with family and friends. I go sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. My best friend and I ALWAYS play Capt. Hook's when we have girls only weekend. I took my husband when we were on our honeymoon. He loved it too, he beat me and I had... more

When my boyfriend and I first arrived in Myrtle Beach for the first time there were so many mini golf courses to choose from but after playing all I can say is wow! I have never been so surprised by a mini golf course! The price is definately a lower priced course compared to those I've been to in WI... more

We played here on our last trip to Myrtle Beach in mid-August 2007. The putt-putt was great, but the wait on the holes was unbelievable. There are two courses, both are nice with both easy and challenging holes. Water features, caves, and scenes from Peter Pan are on both courses. The "before 6pm prices" are great, if you are willing... more

Of the myriad mini-golf business along the Grand Strand, Captain Hook's Adventure has to be number one! The fee is about a dollar or two over some of the others, but is definitely worth every cent! It is so well maintained that it feels brand new. The turf is so new that not one of the 18 holes had the... more
