I recently played Prestwick based on a recommendation of a friend. He was correct - good value and a good Golding experience. It is a very good course with a combination of the traditional gold course and the links style course. Front nine traditional and back nine links style, it was a difficult test with the wind up. most of... More

This was the first course we played during our trip. Somewhat challenging with traps and water. Nice course to drive through with some nice views. Very friendly staff and the course was maintained well.

Great course tough but fair. Service was great with friendly rangers who were useful. It was like walking on carpets on the fairways and the greens were great.

A solid test of golf describes this course. I have played a lot of courses in the MB area and this one is in my personal top 5. Greens were in excellent condition and fast. A rarity for July. A solid Pete Dye design that requires solid second shots to position yourself correctly. Course seemed to play a tad shorter... More

This was my 2nd round at Prestwick. The course is very memorable (the quality of the individual holes is outstanding). They installed new greens a year ago, so the comments in other reviews about the greens being slow no longer applies. Rather, part of the challenge is getting your approach shots (and even chips on some greens) to hold. On... More

I would certainly add this course to my list to play the morning of my departure. It's close to the airport and a fun track to play. Some long holes to make you work; wonderful par 3s; great water holes; and deep nasty bunkers. Loved it!!! Only criticism would be that the greens were inconsistent ... some slow, some fast.... More

Not too often that I get to play a 5+ hour round of golf even here at Myrtle Beach, but we did here. Five hours, Five minutes tee off to last putt. Lots of passes by the rangers, but no comment on the play. Maybe it was the degree of difficulty of the course or the day (Sunday), but if... More

Beautiful course in a country club setting. Greens are taken well care of. If you stay at Ocean Lakes Campground you get discounts to play here, if not it is on the high side to play. The Jackson family owes the land this course is on as well as most of 544 from there to Ocean Lakes. This course is... More

I have never played golf but I have played on the tennis courts for some time. The courts are always in great condition. There are only a couple hard courts and the others are clay. The staff is super friendly and this is a great place to take tennis lessons.
