Decent alternative to the beach for the day

This water park has exactly what you would expect. With that said, it is mostly families with small children. You get the entire range of activities from pools to slides. When I was there with my children, I had no intention of going into the water that day so I was able to purchase a special, reduced price ticket that... More

Long lines here when we went. If you get bored with the hotel's pool or don't want to deal with the sand for the day, this is a good alternative. It is also across the street from Broadway at the Beach. Concessions were affordable.

Great Waterpark for kids of all ages. The little ones enjoyed the lazy river and pool while the older kids braved the big slides.

Myrtle Waves is a blast! they have slides for all ages as well as a kiddie wading pool. the staff was friendly. the lines can be fairly long later in the day. water shoes are important so not to burn your feet on the concrete, however you can't wear them on the slides. the prices are just like any other... Went with a youth group, was easy to work with the group coordinator for group pricing. Highly recommend renting a cabana/hut for the group to load personal belongings into and a place to crash if you get too hot. A lot of variety in the slides, something for both the timid and the adventurous. Would definitely go back!

The last time I was here was probably 2009. This places has changed so much and not for the better. First, we went on family fun night. The park stays open until 9. What we did not know is that they close the lazy river and the back half of the park around 7pm, when it's not even dark. he... More

My wife and I visited this about 14 years ago. It was much better than last week. The waves in the wave pool are much smaller than 14 years ago. The lazy river was not working for a month. Only one place open to get food which meant I had to wait about 30 minutes in line for a below... More
