My husband, myself and 2 children aged 9 and 13 arrived at this water park one hour after it opened....it's was extremely hot and hardly any shade. While we waited in line ..however after spending $68 after discount we walked round and round looking for sun beds or even chairs to sit on ...there was nothing available, just benches in... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. We have decreased the price of admission this year and in addition to July being one of our busiest months, the attendance of the park has also increased more than prior years. On order are 200 additional lounge chairs due to arrive shortly that will assist in providing more... More

I feel like there needs to be a good rating on TA. I feel like this place was better than average, but not quite very good or excellent. We took 3 kids ages 2,3 and 6 and all of them had something to do. The slides they have are all pretty good, but with there not being a lot of... More

I wish I could get back the 5 hours I wasted at this the water park! We arrived one hour after the park opened only to find that all of the few lounge chairs the park has out had been claimed by other guests. After walking around the entire park (in literally 5 minutes!), I was checking my receipt and... More

Thank you so much for taking your time to provide feedback to us. As the park is under new management, we have had some obstacles to over come including the concrete and restroom accommodations that we hope to upgrade in the future. Our attendance has increased over last year this time due to decrease in pricing and as such, we... More

I have to admit after living at the beach for over 15 years an never going to this park it has changed my thoughts to where I hang out now. It is very spacious and you don't feel as though you are on top of someone in this waterpark. You don't have all of the whistles going off and kids... More

We get the season pass because we go at least 4+ times during the summer. Kids love it, but the lines for the rides requiring tubes are long. We waited over 40 minutes for a 2 minute ride - won't be doing that one again. But the slides w/o tubes are a lot of fun. There's plenty of shady, seated... More

Our first and last visit here. I have never been to a water park where you had to wait in a line for TUBES then wait again to ride the slides. For what they charge you for admission you would think they would have an ample supply of the inner tubes. The Island Cafe there was horrible and the staff... More

Thank you so much for taking your time to provide feedback to us. As the park is under new management from a previous owner, we have had some obstacles to over come back in May with some that still remain mid summer such as kitchen equipment and restroom accommodations. The only way we can get better is to hear what... More

We are locals and have frequented Myrtle Waves for years, but this was the best visit yet. The lifeguards and the other employees were friendly and amazing. It was aoso great to see familiar smiling faces from years before... Tarsha, Fannie and Ms. Wanda made our trip so memorable and we loved it. I can't wait to go back, it... More

Smaller waterpark. We only did the tube slides one time each as you had to wait forever for tubes, how does a waterpark not have enough tubes? The non-tube slides were much better. Discount tickets made it tolerable. I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price.

First of all, let me say that the staff there is excellent! We went to Myrtle waves twice, once two years ago, and once now. Our experience two years ago was nice, and made us want to return this time. But after this trip, we will not be returning. First we had an hour long wait to get in, The... More

July is one of the busiest months at the park and in the Myrtle Beach area as well. We do have 200 new lounge chairs arriving at the park toward the end of next week due to the increase in attendance. We apologize for you not being able to get to First Aid in a timely manner. The former location... More

The lines were very long. Wave pool had no waves. Older kids thought it was boring. Would not go back.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The Wave Pool was being improved at that time and although it may have been down for just a short while, the waves were running just not at full strength. Improvements should be finalized this evening. More
