Yes, it is $1 to walk on the pier. These are locally owned and they do not receive funding. They keep it clean, repaired and lit. It is worth it! Recommend fishing too! May not catch a thing but it is fun!

We walked down to the pier on 4-2-15. It was a nice breeze. Yes it cost 1.00 a person. But so what it was worth it. We heard people complain about having to pay to walk on the pier. We sat and watched some people fish. No one caught anything while we were there. Overall very nice walk on the... More

I didn't eat here so I'm not sure about the restaurant, but I did love walking on the pier. It's pretty cheap to walk on the pier, and for an extra fee, you can go fishing too. I even saw a jellyfish in the water when I went for the first time last year.

Nice long pier. Fishing must be good because I usually find it covered in folks fishing and just enjoying the views. Only a buck or two to go out and sight see. Nice little gift shop and there is a restaurant. I have always found them friendly as well.

Always enjoy our breakfast here, good value for the dollar and a perfect view. Plus a nice walk on the pier after eating. Worth checking out :)

Having been here several times in the past I found the current staff at upper bar not as fun & friendly as in the past. Could have just been an off day for them but they were really down from my previous visits though. I would still recommend a visit though for normally it is a great place to view... More

I have been here both day and night and it is just beautiful with the Myrtle Beach skyline as a backdrop and the Atlantic Ocean as far as the eye can see. Very interesting to see what is being caught at different times of the year and the anglers are quite willing to explain what they are catching and allow... More
