This course is in great shape and is a great value. It offers a nice little challenge for the average player and the staff is very nice. The food is also very good

I live here in Myrtle and this is one of my favorite layouts. Greens are always in great shape, staff is friendly, visually it is a great layout and it is never overpriced.. I highly recommend...

This is a favorite for our group and there were no complaints from anyone. Tough course in many places and unforgiving on a bad shot. Stay within yourself when playing.

First time we've played this track in our many travels to the golf capital of North America. Everyone enjoyed the conditions the greens were quite difficult we found. The services available are dated there's no GPS and the course can't take the Prime Time gift cards outside the clubhouse which is the first place we've had that happen. I would've... More

The good: the course layout of Avocet is challenging and my group thought it was the third best course we played. The staff is friendly and a hoot. The bad: course was not in great shape and clubhouse is way outdated. I hope their business picks up so they can modernize and update the place. I would play here again... More

Very challenging course and in really good shape for this time of the year. If you are looking for a mogul laden track with interesting and demanding approach shots, you will find it here. Be aware that this course is definitely not for everyone. An average golfer (95+) may become frustrated as will women golfers who don't hit the ball... More

This is the second time we played this course on our golf trip and the pro shop, to the starter to the golf course from tee to green was excellent. We played on 4/9/2014. After our round, the four of us went inside to the bar for a cocktail and discuss our round. When we walked into this bar the... More

Having gone to South and North Carolina for 10 years every spring, we have played a fair share of the courses. This one by far is my personal favorite! Challenging but do-able! And when you do it... WOW! This spring was exceptional hard in South Carolina with the ice storm and just dang cold, wet weather, but this course made... More

Played Wild Wings Plantation - Advocet Course with friends in mid-November. The course was in excellent condition. A links style course that is really fun to play. Less water than many of the Myrtle Beach courses. It was one of the nicest courses of the close to 50 courses we have played on the Grand Strand. I would put this... More

Course was one of the few I could get on in the afternoon as many of the better courses double book. I have to say that I have played this before and it was in the BEST shape I ever saw it. Greens were not real fast but in real good condition - the fairways and tees are in great... More
