If you go to myrtle beach to play golf then you have to play a round here. The first course to be built in m.b. and that's why they call it the Granddaddy. You can choose to have a regular driving golf cart or one with a RollsRoyce front. We choose the regular. The course was in excellent shape for... More

Thought about this before writing and after reading the majority of poor reviews I had to give my input. None of the poor reviews really had a complaint about the course, but how they were treated. You can add my veteran group to the list. Had golfed here during the hay day of Myrtle beach with kilts and chowder. It... More

If you are making your first visit to Myrtle Beach to play golf then a great way to start your vacation is at "The Grandaddy" - Pine Lakes Country Club. This is the oldest golf course in Myrtle Beach and is a magnificent testament to the standard of golf courses in the area. The clubhouse is supreme in stature and... More

We played here last year and enjoyed it enough to come back on this year's visit to MB, even knowing that there's not a range to warm up on here. It was overall in very good condition, in spite of recent rains. It wasn't cart paths only, though a few holes probably should have been. The lush fairways were great... More

I play at Pine Lakes ("The Granddaddy") every year when we vacation in Myrtle Beach. Some years I play twice. This is my favorite course in Myrtle Beach. The fairways, the greens, and the bunkers are always in top notch shape. It is a challenging course and one I look forward to playing each vacation. To top it off, we... More

The course was in pretty nice shape for being so soggy and wet, but not exactly like it used to be. The service wasn't quite up to par as it was a few years ago. We used to get towels and tees before you even tee'd off, this time we were greeted by someone who seemed to have just pulled... More

the course its self was very nice and in very good shape... BUT the staff was terrible. Very unfriendly. they cross started the 1st and 10th which i understand why and i know its common but the started "seemed " to let an extra group or two in front of us which drastically slowed down play. the "ranger" if that... If you are a golfer of any caliber when in fhe Grand Strand play its Granddaddy course. Hint it is Pine Lakes. The course was phenomenally manicured and lush. This a challenging course. I do not get to play much. However, I was not upset that I shot poorly that day but I enjoyed the horticulture around the fairways and... More

The course use to be one of my favorite places to play when in Myrtle Beach; however since they redid the course it is just not the same. I have played it a couple times since it was redone and I think it gets worse every time. The course itself is in pretty good shape however; not as nice as... More
