man o war

There is lots of water here as this was built on a lake but allows even the novice golfer to have a decent game. It will test you off the tees

Just got back from Myrtle Beach and played both Man O'War and its sister course, the Wizard. Man O'War has water on many of the holes, but I liked it and thought it played pretty fair. The course was in great shape especially the greens which were fast and true. The only minor gripe that I had with the conditions... More

Just back from Myrtle Beach with a group of 20 guys. Wind comes in to play as the Man O War is fairly wide open. Water comes in to play on plenty of the holes. But, what gets you coming back is the conditions. Tees and Greens in great condition....Thought the Pro Shop staff was very personable and bev cart... More

My group played here 5-2-15. I really enjoyed Man O' War. The course was in great shape and well manicured. The greens fast, true and in excellent condition. The course is challenging but playable. They add in lunch ( a sandwich and two beverages) which is a bonus. The clubhouse isn't a big show piece but has everything you need.... More

Played here last Thursday. There is a lot to applaud about this course, but unfortunately our experience included an altercation with some young golfers behind us. We teed off at 2:30 and it was pretty dark when we finished. We waited at least five minutes on each hole. On most holes we would get to the tee box before the... More

Excellent course from tees to the pin. Most holes have water that comes into play. Great staff and good goff course food.

This was a really nice course. Initially we thought too much water and maybe too much target golf but not so. Generally fairways, greens, were rewarded for good shots and greens were well manicured and rolled well. A fun layout which was enjoyable to play, even on a soggy day. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, which goes a long... More

Amazing course with picturesque views across all 18 holes. You must love water to play this course but most of the water is just window dressing and does not come into play. We played it last week and I highly recommend it. Rough was green, fairways were green, and the greens were in nice shape. Good luck - drive for... More

Everything was green! Course is in great shape. There is water everywhere which makes the scenery beautiful. I have played over 40 courses in the area. This one ranks near the top for me.
