This was a really nice course. Initially we thought too much water and maybe too much target golf but not so. Generally fairways, greens, were rewarded for good shots and greens were well manicured and rolled well. A fun layout which was enjoyable to play, even on a soggy day. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, which goes a long... More

Amazing course with picturesque views across all 18 holes. You must love water to play this course but most of the water is just window dressing and does not come into play. We played it last week and I highly recommend it. Rough was green, fairways were green, and the greens were in nice shape. Good luck - drive for... More

Everything was green! Course is in great shape. There is water everywhere which makes the scenery beautiful. I have played over 40 courses in the area. This one ranks near the top for me.

I have played this course yesterday and I must admit, I was impressed with the course. courses are getting greener as March finishes but this course offers more than that. You are asked to be a shotmaker and judge your club distances. Unfortunately there is no GPS in your cart and the flag poles prisms are not there also so... More

Myself and seven friends went to Myrtle Beach for four days. We played our first round at Man O War. Staff was great and accommodating. Club house is really interesting being built on piers over water. All in all great trip. Course was in good shape.

If you like golf with lots of water hazards, this is the place for you. I love this course because it's very playable. This course makes you think and with proper course management you can shoot a good score. It's not long from the senior tees and the fairways and rough are green, not the brown dormant, Bermuda.

Played Man O War for the first time today after a few visits to the sister course The Wizard. Like the Wizard course was in excellent shape. Green grass everywhere. Greens, tees, fairways, and rough all over seeded. The greens were very soft but rolled smooth and quick. Generally, the course is not real right. There is plenty of room... More

Love the course, the layout, the quality of the greens. This is an excellent value for any Myrtle Beach Course. Liked it so much, I purchased a local membership and play there on a regular basis now.

Starter was very friendly with a great sense of humour. We were promised first tee time and actually got it for a change and this made for a quick round. Lunch is typical - hot dog or sandwich, beer or pop and chips. Pro shop and lunch counter staff could try a smile for better customer service. Course itself was... More
