This place is great for children to learn and be hands on and get in some education all in one! I had a blast and I'm mother of 2! When you first walk in it's a little sketchy if you are used to a big place like the Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This place is small and... More

After visiting the Great Lakes Children's Museum in Traverse City, Michigan. I had similar hopes that this Children's Museum would be comparable. It has a little dated feel, but the activities are fun and engaging for kids ages 2-9. For adults it can be hard to keep track of kids because most things are on the same level - at... More

My and wife and took our 2 daughter ages 3 & 1. My 3 year old had an amazing time. She was the perfect age for the museum. My 1 year old was a little young but, she also had a nice time. The place was a older and many of the exhibits were dated. The staff was friendly and... More

We visited Myrtle Beach in March which means that some days could be too cold for the beach. We looked for something relatively inexpensive and inside and found the SC Children's Museum located a few blocks from our hotel. The price of admission was $8 per person over 2 years old. Having been to other similar museums in the past... More

On a cooler/rainy day, this museum is a blessing. Kids in the 2-5 range will enjoy it best, though kids slightly older will still get their money's worth of fun. We especially liked the rock activities, where kids get to mine for real gems, metals and crystals. More

Advertisement on webiste stated there was ice skating. We were disappointed as another family to find there was not ice skating. Since we had never been before, we did not know what to expect. Not too new, mainly hands on exhibits for 5 and under. My daughter was seven and we were out within 20 minutes of arrival. More

We took our 1 1/2 year old daughter here and she loved it. It's not much to look at from the outside, but once you step inside it's obvious that someone put a lot of thought and effort into designing the displays. They are very creative and engaging. Just for example, in the restrooms, they put chalk board along the... More

We brought a lunch and stayed for 4 hours. We all had a blast! If you have young kids, this is a great way to spend a day. More
