I took my 80 year old mother, a die-hard country fan. She was disappointed in the first half of the show, where she recognized only ONE song, and it was not even country (Save the Last Dance for Me). However, the 2nd half was better, with a salute to traditional country (George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, etc.)... More

The Carolina opry had a lot of talent but was overrated..they had great talent but lacked the entertainment wow factor.. If it were not for the comedian and the All That tap dancers, it was lacking .

Coming to myrtle beach every year and going to a different show means having to see the same ones over again. This was our fourth visit to this show and we were glad to see it has been updated with younger stars. All that ! Was great. Brad long was very good! Kim Shurbut was funny as ever. Keep up... More

We went to see the show Good Vibrations. It's music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. It was fantastic. To save some money, opt for the budget tickets. The seats are decent and you save a good bit of money.

Wow! If you like blue grass, country, & western music - dancing, laughing and kickin' up your heels then this is the place for you. I got to say it was one of the best shows that I've been to in years. Next to the Grand Old Opry, The Carolina Opry ranks right up there with the music, fun, dancing,... More

Have seen the productions at this theater many times over the years starting out when they were located in Surfside Beach. Have never been disappointed. Also really appreciate the ease of parking in a huge parking area.

Let me start by telling you that it is a toss up between The Carolina Opry and The Good Vibrations show as to which is the best. There is one simple reason for this. Both shows are done by the same cast, and the cast is unbelievable. Also, even though it is called Carolina Opry, don't think that it is... More

We came to Good Vibrations a couple of years ago (Excellent) and really looked forward to this experience. The singers, dancers, and musicians were all excellent, making it a wonderful experience. We expected corny "Hee-Haw" type humor and we're not disappointed. What did disappoint us was how much humor was just pot-shots at our president. Didn't vote for him and... More

Took friends to Carolina Opry. Everything was first class. Especially liked the clog dancers. One word of caution when buying tickets: don't sit in section F, row 9. The control booth is directly in front of these seats and the computer screens etc can be distracting. Also does not have much leg room.
