We recently took a trip to Myrtle Beach this September and enjoyed two visits to the Family Kingdom Amusement Park. I have a three year old son and there were a great number of rides for him to enjoy. The park mostly caters to children and there are lots of things for children of all ages to enjoy. The employees... more

This was an "OK" place. We took our 6 year old daughter. It was a ripoff. I guess because it reminded me of a traveling fair, and the prices were too high. There were tons of sketchy people around to. Save your money for the speedpark, mini golf or anything but this. The Log flume ride was fun....but that was... more

This is the first year we went to the Water Park and second for Amusement park. We bought the combo package and used a coupon from Monster book ($99.99 for 2 A and 1 K) Not bad for a full day at the water park and a full day at the amusement park. The lines for both were very short... more

We were going to kill a morning there. We arrived at 10:30 AM. Lo and behold -- the park doesn't open until 4:00 PM on weekdays (don't know what they do on weekends). We had to scramble to what to do; we settled on the Ripley's Odditorium, which was okay+. Scanning the park, most of the rides seemed of the... more

My husband and I had a great time at the park! We purchased the small ticket package and rode the ferris wheel, roller coaster, and bumper cars. The roller coaster is an old wooden ride and I screamed most of the way, and I couldn't stop laughing on the bumper cars it was such a blast! Most of the rides... more

The ride mix is geared towards the younger crowd with 2 go cart tracks, a few 'spinny' rides, log flume and roller coaster for people 4 foot and taller. There are various food vendors and a few games of chance, but the rides out number the concessions by about 4 - 1. We hit the occasional pocket of vomit stench... more

Family kingdom is for small children, it is no admission so its best to walk around first to see if there are age appropiate rides. There are lots of kiddie rides but it is a clean family oriented park. We enjoy it we have 4 children but as mentioned use coupons. more

We visited the Family Kingdom last week while on vacation. I wish I would have walked around before buying 3 bracelets for my children ages 9,5,and 2. The bracelets were $23 each and 50 tickets were $55. So I figured rather then run out of tickets I would get the bracelets. At the end of the night I realized I... more

We took our kids (1 and 3) to this park. My 3 year old had a blast! There were numerous rides for him to ride. He, of course, loved them all. I especially liked that there were "miniature" rides. (e.g. a toddler sized ferris wheel, toddler size bumper cars, etc.) All the signs were clearly marked as to height requirements.... more
