As many people could imagine, the carnival games are completely rigged against the player. In a basketball game, 1 shot is $2 and 3 for $5. After we made 3 consecutive shots, we were only granted one ball. The attendant kept saying one win per play, but did not make an attempt to save my time, or reimburse my money... More

I use to frequent the Pavillion amusement park years ago. Only started coming to Family Kingdom after the Pavilion closed in 2006. I miss the old amusement park, it was top notch! ! My visits to family Kingdom have always been enjoyable though a little expensive. It is clean and has a ride for most tastes. The log flume and... More

Great family amusement park! Definitely has the classic feel of a seaside amusement park. The lemonade is THE BEST, especially for the humid climate of the area. Beautiful views of the ocean from the ferris wheel and roller coaster. A must see when you're in the area, especially since the beloved Pavilion is no more.

More like a miniature amusement park. Rides were short (limited space). A couple of short roller coasters, but mainly fair type rides and games. I feel that it was overpriced for the amount of entertainment, but it is also a tourist trap, so that is expected.

My husband and I took our children ages 8 and 11 to the park the last week in April. We arrived around 6pm and the kids had little to no wait to get on rides. We purchased the wristbands and I feel it was worth it. My kids LOVED the wooden rollercoaster and the log flume! You can buy pictures... More

I am more inclined to choose a place like Six Flags so this place was not the best rides. Kinda like fair rides. Expensive to ride single rides. Food is horrible. Stay away from the games...cannot win. Ok rides but not great.

Every time we are in Myrtle Beach, we make sure we spend a night at Family Kingdom. Fantastic rides for the kids and adults. Everything from the little kiddie rides up to thrill rides for the teens and adults. A few games throughout the park add to the carnival atmosphere.
