Women in tackle shop not very friendly or helpful. We did catch fish and had a great afternoon. Pier was great as far as fishing piers go.

There is a fee to get onto this pier, but entry is free with a Springmaid Resort stay. Open late. Great fishing.

My boyfriend grew up going to Springmaid because his family had a camper at the resort so we usually go to Springmaid Pier!

The day my 14yr old spent here was his favorite day of vacation. Great wooden pier with lots of fishing spots/benches. They offer rentals of fishing equipment & a bait shop. My son was in heaven catching fish all day. His favorite of course was the small sharks. If you plan on spending the day there bring an umbrella with... More

If only to walk out on the pier, this is a place that is worth visiting. It does cost $1 for a walking pass, but it may the best money spent on your trip to Myrtle Beach. Great views from the pier. It's always fun to watch the folks who are fishing. You never know what they might catch!

Have been coming here for 30+ years. It is a very nice pier with a great gift shop and restaurant. The view from the end of the pier at night is beautiful. My family enjoys posing in the enormous chair and swinging on the swing. My children love to watch the fishermen as the reel in their catch. It is... More

If you can possibly arrange to be here the first weekend in December, there is a fantastic craft show with excellent quality items for sale every year. It's on all four floors, and there is a good variety of items of varying prices. I always get a few stocking stuffers and a splurge item or two. Well worth the trip!

This is a great pier. First, it is one of the longest piers in SC, which is great for the fishermen. You can rent rod and buy bait. It has a resturant, with decent food and alcoholic beverages, however, both are overpriced. It has a general store where you can get ice cream. Live music at night. And some seating... More
