Great for fishing

They charge you a dollar to walk out on the pier but its worth it. Long pier lots of fish and fishers. You can rent fishing rods or just have a drink and relax.

My family went out onto the pier to see what we could see. It was clean and the people who worked at the souvenir shop were friendly. The pier was nice and seemed to have good fishing there as well.

We stayed at Springmaid in mid-July 2015 and went to the pier every day & night. We loved the atmosphere of the pier, the sounds of the ocean and the many friendly Springmaid employees and locals that came there to fish. They had live entertainment later in the week which was cool. Plenty big to get around and take in... More

The pier was very nice and there was only a fee of $1/person. The only downside was there was no where to park. We drove around trying to find parking for quite some time which was frustrating. Other than that, it was nice. The pier is long and there are lots of fisherman out enjoying the day. We were able... More

Nice little gift shop at the beginning of the pier for you to get a cuppa coffee or an ice cream. They had corn hole game as well as another vendor for purchasing food also a restaurant. We walked to the end of the pier after paying or one dollar per person and enjoyed looking out on the ocean there's... More

Loved the great views. After dinner we will take a stroll and just sit there and watch people fish. The breeze is amazing!

Be sure to catch King Shazaam on Tuesday nights (Great Tribute Artist along with Stella, singing right on the pier, within walking distance of the condo I just rated, Regency Towers.)

This would be a nice place to eat or just sit and relax on the pier except there is no where to park. There are no side roads to park and walk and there is only a parking garage that charged us 5.00 or a hotel parking lot beside the pier that post towing signs. The parking garage is in... More

Enjoy walking the pier as well as the friendly people in the area. It is also close to a small museum and over looking the ocean in a peaceful area.
