My wife and I had been there before. Went on the tour - had a great time! Very informative, funny and great beer. Had a few brews afterwards and had some great food from the truck outside. Allie was great, as usual - upbeat and full of energy. Don't be put off by the industrial neighborhood - this is the... More

My wife and I heard about this brewery from our condo clubhouse. We decided to take a tour. Pulling up, it didn't look to appealing, but in the end it was a great time. Our tour guide, Roddy, was funny and informative, the tour taught you the beer making process. Their beer was great, we liked all of them, but... More

We stopped in for a tour after reading on Tripadvisor how highly rated this place was. Judging by the amount of people waiting for the tour, I wasn't the only one. Rod our tour guide asked how people had heard about the tour, several people yelled out "tripadvisor". He laughed and told the crowd that there were much better places... More

We went on a hot touristy day in August but there's nothing you can do about that. It was worth it. Rod made the tour absolutely fantastic. Great beer. Don't let the outside look and location fool you. It's definitely worthwhile.

This was possibly the most informative tour I've taken. It could be the brilliant public speaking and comedic skills of the guide, or the fact that South Carolina does not allow the serving of alcohol prior to touring. Either way an afternoon well spent.

This was my third visit in the last couple of years. I have enjoyed each visit. The beer has been consistent each visit and I leave with a case each time. I noticed some complaints on here about the space and all I can say is these guys might be suffering some from their own success. Ignore the industrial setting... More

We did the free tour and tasting at the new south brewery. You get to try 4 samples and tour the facility for free. The beers are quite good and they give you a good sized sample. The tour was pretty long and he said we were getting a shortened version so I can't imagine how long the normal tour... More

Had a good time even though it was hotter than heck in the brewery. We got 4 free samples of beer. I really liked all the beers I tried. Oktoberfest was probably my favorite. Yum. We ended up getting a couple growlers to go. Great place to go on a rainy day. The parking sucks!!! You will get towed if... More

Fun event but number of participants needs to be capped. Way too many people for the space. Maybe they should offer 2 tours a day. Brown ale and white were very good. Entertaining presentation.

Hello, Thanks for the review. We are glad that you had a good time with us. I understand about how hot and crowded it gets in during tourist season but it only really is that crowed for about a month and a half. Unfortunately, being a small brewery, we cannot afford to hire someone to give out more free beer... More

Fun local brewery. Said they started back in 1998. Good selection of beers - white ale, red ale, nut brown ale, IPA, an Oktoberfest.....even a stout. Unbelievable the number of people that turn out for the tour - get there on time or early.
