I was hesitant to ride the SkyWheel because it seemed too costly for a short ride, but my family really enjoyed the ride and views. My 2 children ( ages 7 and 10) loved the ride. I think it is worth the $$ to do once during your visit to Myrtle Beach. We went around 4 times total.

Myrtle Beach SkyWheel gives great views of the beach and the city. It's well run. You are to get three complete revolutions - we got four. It's fun to do and see once. At night the lights are beautiful. Three children ages about 7-10 were in the car ahead of us. Their parents were able to go to the car... More

We love Giant Wheels and have been on many, worldwide. The one in Myrtle Beach didn't disappoint. It gives you a nice ride with a spectacular view of the Myrtle Beach area. It seemed to go a bit faster than some we had been on, but it was a smooth ride. Very nice.

The SkyWheel was awesome! Great view, fun, air conditioned, very high up! The price was very reasonable at $13.00 each for adults. Reduced price for children.

The skywheel looked amazing from below. The view of the ocean is good, but not sure I would pay to ride again.

If you have an extra $13 bucks this is a cool little touristy thing to do on the boardwalk. It is definitely a bit terrifying if you don't like heights, but the view is pretty neat.

The Sky Wheel is great fun! The ride is very tall but the movement is so smooth and slow you hardly realize how high you are when you are at the top. The gondolas are spacious and climate controlled and there is a "panic" button if some one has an emergency. My young granddaughters loved it. Everyone who visits Myrtle... More

I'm scared of heights. It was scary to me. Super slow but my imagination ran wild. Amazing view but I could see way way down. Nope. I'm good.
