Description: Carolina Improv Company is located INSIDE the Myrtle Beach Mall at the...
Carolina Improv Company is located INSIDE the Myrtle Beach Mall at the Uptown Theater with seating for approximately 75 people. It's a very intimate (and small) space and serves beer, wine and soda. Yes, it's a little unconventional but that's what makes it fun (and cheaper than other shows). Our seats are transportable cushioned chairs and sometimes we have to pull out folding chairs when people are begging to see us. The fire marshall lets us have up to 110 people in the space. Since the mall does not provide outdoor signage it could be tricky to find us. The mall anchor is Bass Pro Shop and Uptown is on that end of the mall. For the quickest path to the theater, guests should park at the back of the mall between Bass Pro Shop and Carmike Cinema. Hungry? There are several restaurants at the mall where you can eat before visiting us.

Fun show. Most shows in Myrtle go for over 40 dollars, not here. This show is 12-15 dollars depending on when and if you buy the tickets online (cheaper). If you enjoy it as much as we did, they give out discount tickets to return another night for only 8 dollars (which we did). They offer drinks (soft, beer and... More

Great show! Small venue, but it's great because there's not a bad seat in the house. Well worth the cost of admission!! The improv team keeps switching up the people on stage, so you're never bored. Funny vignettes and great for families of all ages. A little difficult to find because they're located inside the mall. Park around back by... More

This was my kids first live comedy show. They lived the energy of the comedians. I recommend as an inexpensive night out for the family.

Show was slow paced, lack the professionalism of "Whose Line". Theater is a small mall storefront location, sort of a cramped, awkward space. 2 Stars as a few of the comedians were good, and had some passion in their performance. However overall this was something I would not waste an evening on. This was out last night out at the... More

If you are looking for something fun you need to attend the Improv! Show is about 90 minutes but you feel like it was only 20 minutes. They have a family show as well. Get you tickets early on line and check in early to have the seats up front. GREAT FUN!!!

1st - what a bargain for the funniest night ever. The cast was so kind and so friendly even before the show started. The entertainment was amazingly cleaver and we were almost rolling the floor laughing. The games they played were funny and so well done. I think we need to come back again, and again, and again.

This was such a highlight of our trip. Price can't be beat! Laughter guaranteed without all the filth/language some comedy type places have. We look forward to seeing them again! So fun!

Fun time, good group of hard working improv actors. The location is right in the Myrtle Beach mall, but they do a good job to make it a good performance venue. The group really involves the audience and like most improv, there are hits and misses but we were never not entertained. The tickets were very cheap in comparison to... More

Really fun evening at the Carolina Improv. The troop has a lot of energy and involved the audience at every turn. I only wish it had been longer! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Myrtle Beach. Reasonable price too!
