This is by far the best golf course at the beach. The golf staff could have been alittle more happy. With do many people out of work these people needed a little more uplift in their lives. Besides that the course was indeed a joy and will be back hopefully with a new staff.

We played this course on March 26, with temperatures in the upper 40s and a stiff wind from the north...the first tee was cold! But the course made the effort worthwhile. It's in immaculate condition from tee box to green, the the 1948 design holds up very well, enhanced by the Rees Jones renovation. Driving areas are generous but it... More

No doubt this is 1 of the top 5 courses in Mytle Beach. In the old days the staff trested you like they really didn't want you there, but now they are completely different. Some of my guys were late (as usual), and instead of busting my chops they were so patient and worked with me to get all 26... More

I hadn't played here in a long time, and I forgot what a great facility this is. BEST CONDITIONED GOLF COURSE IN MYRTLE....PERIOD. Starters and bag drop staff are very pleasant. I do have to complain about the gals in the pro shop though. I had a raincheck that originally said two, but was crossed out and initialed for three.... More

Golf course is interesting and challenging. The food was great and the hospitality wonderful. This represents what southern golf and charm are all about.

This was a very nice course with beautiful white sand traps and lots of wildlife. I especially liked holes 10 thru 12 which ran along the water. I played poorly which may have impacted my enjoyment level. What impacted my enjoyment more, however, was the 5:15 it took to play the course - waited on every shot. Paid $150 to... More

This course is a great course for low handicappers but probably too much for those above a 10 handicap. The service was ok. The course condition was very nice but the greens were very hard and fast. I will probably not go back unless I improve my game.

A municipal old style course on steroids. Beautiful along the strand and well maintained but like Tomatoe soup. Good but ordinary!!!

This is the standard for classic golf in Myrtle. It is a private club and maintained as such. The pro shop is excellent and the staff could not be more helpful. We played weeks after they reopened following the replacement of the greens with Champion Bermuda. This was an unqualified success. The greens are tight, REALLY fast and fairly (barely... More

While the course may be pretty and challenging, the service and attitude towards resort golfers was terrible. There was no one at the bag drop. Our group was put off the back and some golfers were not actually told this. Typical of a private club course, nothing is well-marked and the scorecard has no map or hole details. We were... More
