Very enjoyable course and staff. We played on their last minute rate for $55. We were all very happy and even challenged with the course. The course was in great condition. We will be back for sure. Thank you Wizard!

Located next to Man-O-War and just as nice of a course. It's another of my favorite courses in Myrtle Beach.

Played here in the fall of 2013 and again in the spring of 2014--both times the course was in great shape, staff was friendly and helpful, play moved along at an acceptable pace, was "female-player friendly," and they offer a great deal with golf, hot dogs and beer for a terrific price. What's not to like!

My wife & I played this course on May 02 and really enjoyed ourselves. The only negative I can come up with is the course was crowded - and we saw why! The rangers kept things moving in a friendly way. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The course itself was in great shape - greens, fairways and tees... More

Your golf trip to Myrtle Beach should include the trifecta of The Wizard, The Witch and Man O War. All courses are in great condition and your package inlcudes lunch (2 dogs or a sandwich) and 2 cold beers or soft drinks. While Man O War and The Wizard and pretty open, The Witch is in the deep woods with... More

We had a 10am tee time on Friday, groups going off the front and back, very crowded, but everything was handled well by the friendly staff. Course was in great shape, tee boxes, fairways and green were all in good conditions. The only complaint was the wind, about 20-25 MPH, which made some holes very difficult. Good experience, will play... More

A sister course to Man O War I was disappointed when playing this course recently. The course was in fair condition. Greens were reasonably fast but some of the fairways need work. Hole #9 is bit of a 'Mickey Mouse' hole in that it requires a 200 yard tee shot to have any reasonable shot at the green. However this... More

Overall, a good course for the money. It's relatively forgiving off the tee, save for a couple of holes where the water is in play, and there's little to no rough to speak of. The course is not a push-over, but it's not a US Open course, either. When I played, the greens had just been aerated (not placing blame,... More

We played 9 holes had the Wizard, had to quit because of an injured player and a backup on 10 tee. The layout was ok, greens were good, and the course was in good shape. It was a little pricey for a public course, but that happens when you're on vacation in Myrtle Beach. I'd play here again if it... More
