On a recent day in January, my husband and I visited the MarshWalk for the first time. It was simply wonderful. We enjoyed the boardwalk visit by the marina and then by the restaurants. We stopped to take pictures of the birds and the beautiful coastal views.

Lots of great restaurants and bars. Great atmosphere. Good food. Love seeing the goats hanging out in the Marsh during the warm months! Missed them when we were there this time!

Looking for something free to do? You found it at the MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet. Just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, the MarshWalk awaits. This is a long boardwalk that leads you past several great eating places and leads you out into the marsh. At high tide, the water is mere inches from the... More

It wasn't what I expected. A board walk that basically walks you from bar to bar. You can gaze out over the Marsh and check out some birds but other than that there wasn't much to do.

I love to walk the Marshwalk from end to end to see all the action, birds, boats, and beauty. Love having breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of the great restaurants there. In warm weather, watch boats, kayaks, paddle boarders, banana boats, jet skis, pirate boat, goats and peacocks on Goat Island most of the year, as removed for winter.... More

After all the publicity we couldn't help but be disappointed at what little is here. It's a chain of restaurants on a small boardwalk on an inlet. Evidently the restaurant owners are responsible for their own hype. Not worth a long drive.

Dead Dog, Drunken Jacks, etc. are excellent places to go and hear music and kickback. However, you will not find any decent food on the Marshwalk. Mostly fried pub food.

Marshwalk has many great restaurants. It is also aa great place to just enjoy outside and go have a drink. The fireworks each year are also done well.

The wooden walkway along the Marsh and out onto the pier is a wonderful, relaxing place to visit. There are lots of places to eat and a constantly changing vista is fascinating. Nightlife is excellent as well. Music, art displays, and sales booths of interesting beach gifts are interesting.
