When in Murrells Inlet this is a must visit. Streching almost a mile, you have shops and restaurants on one side and the inlet on the other. If you like boats there is everything from commercial fishers to pontoons. On the land side is ever thing from bars to boutiques.

Although you do have views of a marsh on this walk, this short boardwalk trail is clearly designed to get you into this small hamlet in order to purchase food or other items at one of the stores closely nestled along the walk.

The MarshWalk extends approximately a half mile along the marsh at Murrell's Inlet behind and adjacent to some of the more popular restaurants. It affords lovely views out over the marsh as well as many opportunities for photographing birds and other marsh activities such as local fisherman bringing in their catches. Fishing and crabbing are also allowed in some areas... More

The MarshWalk is a short boardwalk which has a number of restaurants lining it. It's midway between the Murrells Inlet drive and there are boats and fishermen who dock along the inlet. Apparently the inlet is flooded twice daily with the high tide so sharks have been spotted in the marsh. The marsh has a beauty of its own and... More

I just love this place! There are plenty of restaurants/bars/live music. The view along the rivers is very interesting, especially at low tide! :)

Enjoyed the walk out over marsh to see wildlife. Interesting to see goats on "goat" island. Great selection of restaurants that overlook the marsh. The area is small and becomes quite crowded.

A seemingly never ending row of bar/restaurants with good food, ice cold beers and good Southern hospitality. Stand outs are Creek Ratz and Dead Dog Saloon. A don't miss for the tourist! Bring your camera and photograph the goats on "goat island".

Murrell's Inlet should be high on your 'must do' list if you're visiting the Myrtle Beach area. The walk runs along the inlet for about a mile - lovely views on your one side and an endless array of eating and drinking establishments on the other. It's easy to navigate, even with some disability, and there are plenty of places... More
