The saltwater Marsh tour with the Explorer will teach all about Murriel's Inlet, it's waters, it's creatures living in it and near it. The tour provides hands on education. It is a lot of fun for young and old. The tour is about 2 hour and includes a stop at a beach. Kids love it looking for shells, but also... More

We went on the Sunset cruise, which was not supposed to be narrated. Fortunately we had a wonderful young man, native to the area, that shared his knowledge of the area with us (or at least he told a good story). Unfortunately we didn't get to see any dolphins that night, but we have in the past. It's a gentle... More

If you go during the spring be sure to take a blanket and a coat to stay warm. We initially saw 2 dolphins but then moved to a new location a saw a lot more. Don't expect the out of the water "sea world" jumps but still great to see them in their natural environment. On the way back we... More

We were on a large boat with lots of people fishing. At the begaining on the trip the crew went around collecting money for a contest for who ever caught the most fish. Well we caught the most fish and were expecting a payday. The crew made sure that all of the other guest had left before we received our... More

I can't find anywhere else to print this review so hope this is the place. the Dolphin watch no longer is operated by Capt.Dicks but by the Crazy Sister's Marina. Same boat though and they did honor the coupon from the Monster Coupon Book. We had a cruise of about 10 people so plenty of space on the pontoon like... More

I took my mom and dad who are around 90 years old and who wanted a sedate trip. Nothing was available except for the dolphin watch so I took it... seemed reasonable and fun. When my dad saw the boat he said he wouldn't get on it but I twisted his arm. Mark, the boat operator and Hannah were both... More

This was a fun tour! It was very educational, even to us adults! Kids would love it as well. A covered pontoon boat that tours the marsh, offers a chance to do an hour of fishing and get off on an island to do your own scavenger hunt! Lots of fun!!

We took a tour on April 13th. It was very informational regarding the local area of Murrells Inlet and the guide was knowledgeable and funny. He gave us good tips on fishing to boot. The tour was also not that expensive, which I liked being that I am very frugal. Be prepared to walk around the beach. We also saw... More

Took the afteroon 1/2 Day trip on April 6th. Only 30 people so we figured - great...lot's of room, less worrying about tangled lines, etc. Capt was nice to take us out 15 miles but in the end...this is what happened. Boat - the New Inlet Princess stops at 4 spots for just about 10 minutes each spot. Guess what?... More

so called "deep sea fishing" was horrible. we did not even take the boat out of the inlet.- they took us on a patoon boat- not a fishing boat. Captain CJ was late, hung-over, and very rude. When asked in an excited tone if he was taking us fishing today he responded "I guess so". He was red-eyed, smelly and... More
