I agree with a lot of the reviewers who said it was a blocked view of plantations on the Waccama Lady Plantation Tour. We were not pleased with the seating overall. The folks in the front got the best view and a nice cool breeze throughout the 2+ hour cruise. We were not able to see much of anything without... More

Normally I am not a harsh reviewer and I LOVE nature, but I found this a long boring cruise down a muddy, brown river. If you want to see trees, trees and more trees and a few houses in the distance, then this is for you. Couldn't wait for it to be over. Saw one gator slowly crossing river for... More

Poontoon boat was covered, but open windows allowed for air. Limited seating in front was outdoor, but covered. Seats are set sideways, which meant you had to twist around to see out the windows. Tour personnel and captain were informative and loud enough for everyone to hear. There was a restroom on board. The tour was over 2-1/2 hrs. long... More

We went on the first tour of the morning. It was a little cool and drizzly, but it was overall enjoyable. Not too much wild life out. We only saw on gator. An airboat ride is about the only way to see the back water area of SC. There was limited viewing due to the low lying clouds.

We rode on the pontoon boat and enjoyed it so much we will likely repeat. 2 hours for $30.00 pp. bring your own water... soft cooler works well. our captain doubled as narrator and did a fine job. no really dramatic sites, just a peaceful river ride through a historically important area. In the 1st half of the 19th century... More

I read some of these reviews and I'm not sure which boat they were on but the Lady Waccamaw pontoon boat tour was amazing! The lady giving us all the info knew so much even tho she wasn't from the area! We went with a group of about 15 people and with me was my whole family including my 93... More

This water tour is all that they advertise. Our guide was very good and the scenery was spectacular. We actually saw some alligators and birds of all kinds. We even saw some baby Wood Ducks following their mother. We saw several plantations and learned a lot of history of the area. It was relaxing to just sit (or stand) and... More

Also called Waccamaw Cooter Airboat Tours. If you want relaxing and scenic ride this works. If you want to see wildlife then this might work depending on luck of Mother Nature bringing alligators out. If you expect crazy zigzagging and 360's then this is not for you. Cost $45 per person and bring a coupon for each person as just... More
