We rode on the pontoon boat and enjoyed it so much we will likely repeat. 2 hours for $30.00 pp. bring your own water... soft cooler works well. our captain doubled as narrator and did a fine job. no really dramatic sites, just a peaceful river ride through a historically important area. In the 1st half of the 19th century... More

shouldn't show marshmallow feeding to alligators! Shame on them. It was a mediocre experience anyway

I read some of these reviews and I'm not sure which boat they were on but the Lady Waccamaw pontoon boat tour was amazing! The lady giving us all the info knew so much even tho she wasn't from the area! We went with a group of about 15 people and with me was my whole family including my 93... More

This water tour is all that they advertise. Our guide was very good and the scenery was spectacular. We actually saw some alligators and birds of all kinds. We even saw some baby Wood Ducks following their mother. We saw several plantations and learned a lot of history of the area. It was relaxing to just sit (or stand) and... More

Also called Waccamaw Cooter Airboat Tours. If you want relaxing and scenic ride this works. If you want to see wildlife then this might work depending on luck of Mother Nature bringing alligators out. If you expect crazy zigzagging and 360's then this is not for you. Cost $45 per person and bring a coupon for each person as just... More

Don't waste your time and money. We were given earplugs (not headset ) and, although I later realized, there were life jackets that we were not made aware of. The "captain" didn't introduce himself. He was pleasant but didn't interact with passengers as much as one would expect. This was just a boat ride. There was NO sense of being... More

My wife and I, along with another couple took the Plantation Tour the other day. We were lucky enough to get four of the twelve seats which are at the front of the boat, and though covered on the top, are opened on the sides, so we got beautiful, fresh air for the entire ride. That could not be said... More

We went on the Plantation Tour and really enjoyed the history of the marsh, swamp and Plantation houses. We saw lots of birds, turtles and a few gators - even a pretty big one! The people were polite and the boat was clean and neat. Fun side trip and the guide was well spoken so we enjoyed our day.

What else can you at the beach on a rainy day? Although I am sure it would be even better on a nice day! Informative guide explained about the surrounding areas and plantations. Nice two-hour tour of the rivers. Good value

we sat on the outside of the boat and it was really cool, but for taking photos it was a great place to stand or sit. What a great place to go and the guide was so informative. Well worth the money.
