Everyone needs to stay away from this place! Kidding! This is a great campground! Roomy lots and trees, trees, trees! Very peaceful and a lot better than the mega-campgrounds up the road in MB. The beach is a short walk and there are plenty of trails through the marsh. Can't wait to go back!

Tons of parking, and room on the beach to spread out. Very shallow a long ways in, which is good for little kids. Also makes the water warmer.

Huntington Beach State Park is a true gem. Lovely long beach and amenities at the park are immaculate. Wonderful place to spend a day and don't miss the views from the causeway - frequently numerous alligators to observe and stunning location to photograph.

Go back is history to the Huntington's ocean front residence and studio from the 30's. You will visit their residence fashioned after a Spanish castle and see the relics of that time.

This park is just one not to be missed. Protected land, beautiful beach and lots of history. It is never crowded and you can just walk for miles and miles on beautiful beach or throughout the park. Bring a picnic and enjoy the tranquility.

Nice beach area, with restrooms and areas to change clothes. There is a North beach and a South beach. The South beach has lifeguards and the North Beach does not. Beaches are dog friendly.

With ruins of a bygone era, camp grounds for the family, nature preserves for the wanderer and the photographer, lectures for the kids and the naturalists, and a spectacular 5 mile oceanfront beach to enjoy- Huntington Beach has it all. Most areas are handicap accessible and they even have picnic tables and covered areas for family reunions and or the... More

This was our second trip to Huntington and we had 6 nights to explore the park. The campground is large and has 3 bathrooms. We stayed on site 77. In June, this site was hot. It had some morning shade, but full afternoon sun. Our pop up camper AC had trouble in the afternoon with the 95 degree temps. Our... More

Took the first full day of our Myrtle Beach vacation to take a short drive to Huntington Beach State Park. I had read reviews online and will say it did not disappoint. The beach is relatively low traffic. I'm guessing that's because of the small fee $5 per adult and $3 per kid in our instance. With 6 people that... More

Great Beach w lifeguards, showers, plenty of parking. Not for shell pickers as busy beach has been picked over. Maybe better after a storm.
