This state park has lots of variety. While it was a little cold so we did not see any alligators, we enjoyed the beauty of the beach and Atalaya, the whimsical/weird house built by the Huntingtons. The staff at the park were all very friendly and welcoming. more

We camped here for a week (rustic tent camping, not RV) in July. The tent sites are really nice, big and private, but there are only 6 of them so book early. We finally got around to visiting Huntington Beach State Park and it is a beautiful place. The park has a wonderful beach and great nature trails through the forest.
