We played this course 2 years ago and were blown away. The rough and tee boxes needed serious help and to pay $130 to play a course that doesn't have GPS in the carts and doesn't have distance markings is not worthy of a return any time soon. Change of ownership needs to equate to update of course to bring... More

The 1st course of our week long visit from the UK. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The entrance way is a shrine to Dustin Johnson with a great selection of memorabilia. A large driving range with balls provided (seemingly standard in USA but a novelty for UK). We started from the 10th and were greeted on the 2nd fairway by... More

Good course and great greens. Great staff and an excellent pro shop. I would highly recommend this course.

This was my first golf trip to Myrtle and my first time playing a TPC course. I am an 11 handicap and was playing with 2 single digits and a 17. We play at a decent pace. We don't rush, we putt everything out etc. etc. When I say the course was slow it was turtle slow. Thank god for... More

Most golf courses in Myrtle Beach are friendly and welcoming. Never seems to be the case with TPC. I have played there a number of times over the past few years and it always seems like you are inconveniencing them. Too bad because it's a great layout.

This was the second time we've played here and enjoyed it quite a bit. The only complaint is that, as others have mentioned, they try to get too many people on the course, so it stacks up and ends up being nearly a 5-hour round. Aside from that, greens and fairways were in very good condition, though, really, people, please... More

Okay, we expected a long round, but 5 and one half hours! But more disappointing was that while they have the highest density of rakes per bunker that I have ever seen, no one evidently uses the rakes....and with their soft sand, the lies were impossible (assuming you play the ball as you find it). Talked to Ranger about the... More

We are not golfers, but the restaurant was recommended to us as a nice place for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the "19th holers" finish up. Lovely views, good sandwiches ... very satisfactory visit.
