There are many solid options for public golf courses in the Charleston area, with Patriot's Point certainly in that group. Patriot's Point is a perfect combination of a scenic, well maintained track run by a pleasant and helpful staff. Greens fees and food and bev prices are reasonable. I have hosted many friends visiting town and when we reach the... More

We had a very enjoyable round on this course. The greens were in good condition for this time of the year. The fairways were fine too, except that too many players do not replace divots nor fill the divots with sand which came with the cart. The bridge can be seen at a distance and you will have a glorious... More

This was a highlight during our Charleston trip. One does not have to be a military/navy/marine enthusiast to enjoy this venue. So accessible, excellent volunteers on the aircraft carrier Yorktown. Oh my... Such a great experience. We had US Air Force veterans visiting with us and they were clearly having a great time looking at the various aircraft on the... More

We enjoyed exploring the Yorktown and the MANY air transport planes. Many volunteers were on hand to answer any questions and explain some of the exhibits. We also visited the Vietnam Exhibit...in our age bracket...and the Veteran volunteers were very informative. The exhibit even has noises to enhance your experience. It is currently being expanded and I will visit again!

Worst golf course I've ever played for $84...fairways are so bumpy, you almost can't drive your golf cart across them. Greens are in bad shape, slow, and almost flat with no break...only plus is the back nine has some great views of the bay.

After reading some golfing guides on places to play around Charleston, we decided to book a T-time on Golfnow. We were very disappointed by the quality of the golf course and the misleading description from many golf guides and reviews. There are no "sweeping ocean views". In fact the only time you actually see the ocean is on 16, 17... More

This has the most amazing visitors centre in which to locate all the historical places around the area, there are so many things to look at and visit that you need to gather details here and take the time to spend looking at them.

Wow, this was a first rate tour on an aircraft carrier, a destroyer and a submarine. We could not believe the size of the ship. It was interesting to walk through and take a look at life at an earlier time period. We thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. The sub was unbelievable to walk through. I never realized what a small... Loved this. My favorite was the pier. A very modern pier, in fact the most modern I've ever seen. Small fee to fish or crab off the pier, but not expensive. Met a woman who had only been crabbing for half and hour and she had a dozen blue crabs already. The porch type large swings on the pier are... More

This is a public course that was in good shape, nice layout and very good value! The driving range was very nice, too! In fact, if you want to just hit some balls, this is a great place for that if you do not have time to golf. I think that you will enjoy it, as my husband did today!
