You can spend the entire day at Patriots Point. Make sure you see The Medal of Honor Museum. It's located inside The USS Yorktown. This is a fantastic display of our country's Heros. The attractions at Patriots Point were the unexpected highlight our Charleston trip. The Yorktown and the submarine were truly an experience I'll remember. We alloted half a day but could have used several more hours. These things are worth the trip. The admission is $16 which I feel is high, especially for families, but there was a lot to see. more

We spent about 3 hours exploring the USS Yorktown, and the submarine at Patriots Point on a beautiful sunny October afternoon. It was inspiring and we felt very patriotic for sure. We had not been on an aircraft carrier before so this was an awesome adventure. They have done a fantastic job with the different "tours" that you can do... more
