Great place to go jogging and see wildlife

Really pleasant. Went there for a morning jog, and saw lots of wildlife. Friendly people jogging there also.

We were actually on our way to a different place and saw this one and stopped in. There are a few restaurants and bars, almost like a little Boardwalk. They also have somewhat of a marsh walk. You can go fishing on the docks or just watch others and watch the boats come in and out. Pretty relaxing.

The Shem Creek Park boardwalk goes out along the creek and over the marshes. From there, you can see the famous bridge, downtown Charleston, shrimping boats, and tons of wildlife. This has quickly become a favorite place for an afternoon walk. It is open from early morning to midnight, so you can enjoy it any time of day.

Its a nice walk to see the shrimp boats and Shem Creek. Perfect spot for a sunset. Easy parking. I did have to explain to the kids that it was a family park...no swings, slides or monkey bars.

long boardwalks with places to sit and enjoy. Lots of different birds to watch, including pelicans. Dolphins follow shrimp boats sometimes. Restaurants offer great happy hours, liked RB'sand Vickery's, in particular.

The park is a great place to view the sunset. The walkway is a easy walk elevated above the tide marsh.

If you are in Mount Pleasant you must take time out to walk around Shem Creek. Enjoy the wildlife and peaceful scenery. Make sure you go early could get crowded. I love the scene.

Our hotel (Shem Creek Inn) was right next to this park. One of the nicest intercostal parks I have seen. Lots of walk ways through the marshes all the way out to Charleston Bay and places to sit and even picnic.
