Great place for dolphin watching.

Easy walk to view the marsh, nice homes and wildlife. We watched dolphins feeding and playing in and out of the docks. Use insect repellent in the evening.

The park itself is very interesting and a great introduction to the Low Country. The paths are well maintained and it is a pleasant walk before or after one of the many excellent seafood restaurants along Shem Creek.

A great place to sit and watch the sun go down. The boardwalks through the marsh make it easy to observe nature and relax.

We went to happy hour at one of the Shem Creek restaurants and after dinner we walked all down the boardwalk. We went all the way to the end in search of a dolphin sighting. It was relaxing and the weather was perfect for the evening walk. If you arrive during the day, wear lots of sunscreen since there is... More

A very quiet, peaceful way to learn about local marshes and wildlife. Long boardwalk with marsh on either side. Great place for families!

Shem Creek has several places to eat on the Creek. The pier is awesome. So much to see off Shem Creek. Something free to do!

Lovely walk on the boardwalk, seeing the fiddler crab and folks fishing off the pier. Pelicans and seagulls abound. Our good fortune allowed us to see two shrimp boats come in and we watched the crew unload their haul. Facinating!! Don't miss this free attraction. Plaques along the boardwalk give a brief history of the area and the industry

We've enjoyed walking on the pier at Shem Creek Park. The view is beautiful and my husband and granddaughter always enjoy stopping and taking pictures. It's very relaxing to watch the boats sailing by and the seagulls and pelicans flying past. It's a very pleasant walk which can be done at your own pace so it's a wonderful way to... More
