Tack was a fantastic tour guide. He gave us the local history of homes and their owners in a very entertaining way. He also gave us numerous tips on things to see and do in the area based on our interests. My wife and I both highly recommend his Segway tour.

We had such a good time on our Segway tour of Mount Pleasant, across the river from Charleston. Good instruction for first timers. Interesting history and charming homes along the way.

We've been on many segway tours all over the US - this one was awesome for many reasons. You get to take the segway on many types of terrain, the architecture, stories and anecdotes make it both fun and very interesting -AND you get time to just have fun on the segway in a safe area perfect for all levels... My daughter informed us prior to spring break that going on a Segway tour was one of her lifelong dreams and how can you not want to make a 14 year old's dream come true?! But seriously, we did the 1.5 hour tour (which I recommend, an hour or less on a segway would not be enough) and it was... More

This was a great tour. Lagare was very informative and helpful from the beginning. He made sure we were comfortable on the segways before we started and explained how to maneuver the vehicles. During the tour, he shared a great deal of historical information about the buildings and scenery. We really enjoyed riding the segways and seeing the scenery along... More

My wife and I like to find the local segway tour whenever we visit the US. Our tour with Tac was one og the best. It was a really nice way to see the Old Village. I have no doubt that we wouldn't have found them if we had walked aimlessly around - in fact I doubt that we would... More

Lazare provided us with a detailed history of the Old Village in Mount Pleasant. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history regarding the civil war. We spent a few minutes learning how to operate the Segway and we were off. The route was on quiet streets.

Lagare gave us a fantastic tour of the area (11/06/14) - complete with pointing out landmarks of historic as well as 'movie' related (The Notebook and others). The weather was fantastic and Lagare's information and description was informative and entertaining. The segway information and 'training/practice' was great and we where off and 'rolling' in no time. This more fun than... More

My girlfriend and I recently went on this tour with Tac... we had a great time! Tac took the time to teach us how to ride (we were both first timers) and then off we went for a tour of Mt. Pleasant. I highly recommend this experience... Tac was great and we'll do this again on our next trip to... More

We try to have a Segway experience every time we are able to gather for a mini family reunion -- this was our fifth time to Segway together and it was one of the best. Lagare Porcher was an excellent tour guide, giving us the back story on many of the historic homes and buildings in Mt. Pleasant. The area... More
