Owner description: Don't miss the boat! Water Taxis make hourly trips across the harbor to downtown Charleston starting at 9am. Leave the car in Mt Pleasant at the Charleston Harbor Resort at Patriots Point and avoid the parking hassle. $10 all day pass allows you to come and go when you please. Water Taxis land at Waterfront Park/Market St. and the Charleston Maritime Center next to the Aquarium Wharf. The water taxis make a scenic 4 mile loop around Charleston Harbor checking out dolphins on the way. Great for kids and grown-ups who just want to get on the water.

We took the Taxi over to downtown from Mount Pleasant, rather than trying to park downtown. We were able to visit the Aquarium and walked along the the river. The timing of the Taxi was perfect.

If you'd like to get out on the water and don't own a boat - this is a great value option! For only $10 a person, you can ride the water taxi all day! We generally ride it across the harbor and back, but it's still a very enjoyable ride! Sit in the front to let your feet dangle out... More

It's great and convenient way to enjoy Charleston from Mt. Pleasant side without worrying about where to park your car. Every time we visit Isle of palms, my husband wants to use water taxi to go to Charleston. He doesn't like shopping so I really think he just want to ride the water taxi.

While staying in Mt. Pleasant recently, we chose to use the water taxi as a means of transportation to/from Charleston. We are glad we did. The ride was relaxing, yet got us to our destination quickly and with ease. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I used this service this weekend, and I am so glad we did! It was very convenient, and was a great way to see the harbor. The staff was friendly, and the weather couldn't have been better. For $10 all day, you can't beat it. You gotta try it!

Want to go to town and not drive. This is the way to go. $10 per person (look for the $1 off coupon - $9) for all day. The ride over to the city only 4 people on the boat and the captain was very informative and friendly. On the trip back the captain stopped the boat so the passengers... More

Dogs are allowed on the water taxi, however they are not allowed at Patriots Point (USS Yorktown). We had a small pup in a backpack carrier so they let us slide by, but I don't think that would happen again. So plan to catch the Harbor Resort taxi at the top of every hour. I thought it was worth the... More

We had a bit of trouble finding the boat dock since there was some construction going on.But found it very worthwhile and a fun way to see the historic downtown, the Yorktown and some other sites. The crew doen not provicde any commentary on the sites. We enjoyed it and do suggest that others take a ride.

Convenience and the new experience. We had visited Tommy Condon's Irish Pub and having enjoyed a few brews, were glad to be safely transported!
