Don't miss the boat! Water Taxis make hourly trips across the harbor to downtown Charleston starting at 9am. Leave the car in Mt Pleasant at the Charleston Harbor Resort at Patriots Point and avoid the parking hassle. $10 all day pass allows you to come and go when you please. Water Taxis land at the Charleston Maritime Center next to the Aquarium Wharf. The water taxis make a scenic 4 mile loop around Charleston Harbor checking out dolphins on the way. Great for kids and grown-ups who just want to get on the water.

$6 a ride (one way) from the Charleston Resort and Marina to the city - about 20 minutes. This is probably cheaper than taking a taxi (and faster if you count waiting time).

Great water taxi and well worth the money. $10.00 for an ALL DAY PASS. You can get on and off as many times as you want and see lot's of dolphins. Water, soda etc onboard for a a donation......Captain and Mate are very friendly and knowledgable. Worth every penny.

Park in Mt. Pleasant and take a ride to the Aquarium across the bay. The captain gives you a nice long ride. Skip parking downtown and ride the taxi.

The water taxi was always on schedule and the operators were very friendly. It wasn't quick but it was a nice alternate way to get back and forth between Charleston and Mount Pleasant. We were able to watch dolphins jumping nearby while on the taxi.

We wanted to try the Water Taxi and enjoyed the trip. The crew was friendly and the trip was fun. Birds and dolphins were plentiful. It's only a few blocks to the city center and the very nice visitor's center.

Our kids were so disappointed when we didn't get to do this on our last trip, so it was on the top of our list this time. Great little boat ride with our kiddos. So cheap and worth every penny. Our boat captain was very nice and went out of the way to find some dolphins for us to see....
