Located under the grand entryway to the town, at the base of the Ravenel Bridge, this park has plenty of lawn for enjoying family picnics, a nautical-themed playground modeled after the bridge that provides shade and the boats that pass by in the harbor, and soft-serve ice cream from the River Watch Cafe. The cafe offers beautiful views of Charleston Harbor and a 1,250-foot-long pier where you can sit and swing a while. Memorial Waterfront Park is also home to the Sweetgrass Cultual Arts Pavilion, War Memorial and Visitor Center. « less

Don't miss this gem!! Beautifully appointed park! Clean, great vistas, paths, pier, and restrooms! My husband and I spent a couple of hours here and walked the bridge! Wonderfully peaceful and great photo ops!

Very nice and scenic place to go and just be. Any time is a good time there and its just part of this wonderful nice city. Love the water, wind, boats, ships, wildlife, sunsets, parties, and all it has to offer!

This is such a lovely park. One of my favorite actually. I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't before. There is something for everyone.....history buffs, fishing enthusiasts, playful children, and exercisers! It is well maintained and has a great view!

Not to long, not to short - great views for picture taking. Fun solo piers for fishing. A great family atmosphere.

It was a nice and relaxing afternoon stroll through some very well done points of history facts and gardens. Great to be able to stand still and listen and to draw from the past...

Very nice well maintained park. Much to do, scenery is beautiful. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from the park. It was a nice view. It was crowded then but the rest of the time it isn't. Would highly recommend for a leisurely walk.

We loved the park for kids to play in but the pier was the highlight for us. It is very wide and long with lots of seats throughout and even had several swings. We enjoyed purchasing a pass and fishing off the pier a few evenings.

Took my family here and visited the kids park, went to the store on the pier and walked the pier to see the water! Beautiful views and a great way to spend some quality time. They have swings and there are a lot of people fishing and crabbing off of the pier.

A nice stop in Mount Pleasant that frequently goes unnoticed. Great views. Nice strolls on primer to see great views of the Charleston Harbor. Nice place to take young children to play and enjoy being outside.

There is nothing here to complain about at all. This park is BEAUTIFUL! There is a great playground for the kids and a nice grassy area great for picnics or just lounging watching the boats in the harbor. You can also walk along the pier and swing on the benches and just... RELAX You can also fish off the pier-... More
