Nice Place plays through beautiful homes and Low Country Marsh

Nice place, friendly staff. Course in pretty good shape, not great. Challenging but fun, lots of water and trouble. A little pricey ! Played at good pace, starter helps!

I've been golfing for many years and have never experienced anything like this place and I have never complained about a course before in my life. My son is 9 years old and beginning to play. I called before I made the tee time and explained that to them and I was told that it would be no problem for... More

This is a great course to take in the natural beauty of the lowlands. The course was in very good condition and we started early so pace of play was pretty quick. When we made the turn there were probably 20 golfers waiting at the first tee. Maybe one of the only places I know of that still has gas... More

First time at this course. Good variety of holes, and a good challenge for a casual golfer. Played with several folks who play there all the time, and they love it!

Very slow play and members kept hitting into our group, we were waiting on every shot as well. The ground crew also would not stop mowing, even when we were hitting off tee boxes. I would not recommend this course under any situation, simply not worth the money!

The last game we played in Charleston was at Charleston National. This is a very beautiful course, with many holes having sweeping views over beautiful marshland. Many holes are connected by wooden raised pathways, and several holes have very long walks in between the holes - it must be a challenge to walk this course. The course is beautifully maintained;... I played here as part of a wedding outing. The course itself was a bit of a challenge for a hacker like me. There are a lot of mounds that line the fairways that sometimes could lead to nice bounces, and other times lead to out of bounds. In November, the fairways seemed a little tired, but the greens were... More

This golf course was not all that difficult, but was fun to play. Course was in very nice shape. Pro Shop staff was very friendly and helpful.

This should be the most wonderful course in Charleston. Its layout is great, well fantastic and makes the most of a suburb location. The course conditions can best be described as poor. Some fairways seemed like they had been a little too loong between mows and the greens were a spongy slow poverty stricken municipal style. The staff were disinterested... More

A great place to play with wonderful views. If you're not a really good golfer, make sure you have pleanty of balls with you as you are certainly going to lose some. If you're not on the fairway, you're in the drink or the swamp, etc.
