As a first time rafter, accompanied by a friend who had rafted in Alaska years before, I can say that we can't wait to do it again! The attitude, joyfulness and impressive attention to safety from the 5 raft leaders in our group made this an exciting and beautiful adventure. I am thrilled that we chose Wildwater Rafting as our... We did the mini rafting tour of the Chattooga. It was fun, exciting and very well done. Our guide, Tupelo, did a great job, as did also Scott, the lead guide. I highly recommend a rafting trip with Wildwater Rafting.

We had an amazing time on the river. Our guide, Asia, was super professional and fun! We had an awesome time! We enjoyed every minute on the water with her!

This is not my first raft trip with Wildwater, Ltd. and it certainly will not be my last. I always use Wildwater for any of the rivers they cover on the east coast. My first trip with them was probably close to 20 years ago. This section of the Chattooga was exciting and more technical than other runs my husband... More

I recently did a level 4 short course raft with three friends at this place, and we had an amazing time. None of us had rafted before, but we knew we wanted to dive in and skip the more gentle courses. Our guide, Hunter, was brilliant. He made us feel safe and in control the entire time, but we still... First off, let me say that I have never rafted or kayaked anywhere besides Wildwater, so I may be somewhat bias; however, I cannot imagine there being a better rafting or kayaking experience available in the Southeast US, or perhaps any part of the US (especially for new or inexperienced rafters). Constituting the border between North GA and SC, the... More

I'd always wanted to try whitewater rafting, but was too chicken to go on my own, so a trip with my sister and her family was the perfect opportunity. I think we were all pretty nervous, but everyone at Wildwater was so professional and helpful that we were quickly put at ease. The safety briefing was thorough yet funny -... More

Before writing this, I read some other reviews, and it kind of fit the "profile" of the rafter I felt was good for this trip. First, years ago I'd rafted the New and Gauley in W. VA and more than once. I'm not sure I was prepared for a "wild and scenic" river as the Chattooga was referred to in... More

Took my 13, 15, and 17 year old on this trip. It was the best! Our guides name was Mia - she really rocked! The cottage was awesome - quaint and slept 4 beautifully. The only things I had wished is that I would have thought about firewood or charcoal. Maybe is was available from the staff but I didn't... More

Everything was wonderful about our experience! During the pre-rafting introduction, Nic, was very informative and did a great job of preparing everyone but was somehow able to still keep it fun, yet stressing the importance of safety! Throughout the rafting day, Nic and all of the guides, worked well as a team to keep everyone safe and having a blast!... More
